Trophies do contribute to the longevity of games, but playing a game should be more about enjoying the experience it creates and less about achieving a certain score, so maybe they should be implemented in a different way for certain games where you sometimes end up feeling you're really wasting time trying to get that platinum, when you could be doing other more meaningful things.
I know the trophies i will gladly try to get (even if they need an eternity of play) are the ones w...
How do i know it's gonna be a masterpiece: Already can't wait to play it after watching the low quality vid.
How about the ability to set a start, pause, resume time for each download, + a shutdown option upon completion.
I could create the ugliest stupidest most insignificant game on the PS3 and use 100% of its power.
It's all about how well the game is programmed.
To be honest, i think it's a bit unprofessional and amateurish to make a claim such as Kitase's.
I'd say Square Enix is trying to build some hype for FF XIII.
It's still really too soon to be talking about using 100% (or even 75%) of the PS3's power......................... .................................
I'm a big supporter of Google and all of their products...also the idea of powering up your personalized Google OS from any PC or MAC sounds very appealing, and cloud computing sounds like the next logical step in storage and file processing technology...but this time that next step sounds more logical for some big brother than me.
Though it would be very interesting seeing cloud computing in action, i don't think I'm ready for it taking over and/or replacing current storage dev...
Looks like a side pic of the laptop...but upside down...or is it?

Very nicely done!
This site is definitely going into my daily visits.
This has got to be a joke!
Mortal Kombat Vs DC Universe... oh please, they'd never do such an abomination......would they? Please say it isn't so!
It's a kon. Gotta be!
Oh dear, we're all doomed...
OK, so from what i understand we're already talking about the PS4 and the Xbox 720.
Are we serious!!!!!
So one minute your...no, one second your downloading every single song...no, version of every single song of every album of your favorite musical artist, with all unplugged or live performances, hearable & viewable, and the next your downloading every single movie, interview or appearance, your favorite actor/actress did, could have, should have or might have starred in, and the next...
Are we ready for this amount of information?
Are we ready for the Grid?
Your PS3 is already a computer.
All you have to do is download and install Linux on it, there are many websites which can help you with that.
Most probably that XP will not run as smoothly as Linux, since "Yellow Dog Linux" was specifically built for the PS3.
Finally, if you don't want to risk it on your PS3, try it on your PC, there are many on-line tutorials for Linux which can help you get started and learn about its many great features.
I have been waiting for WKC and it looks like i'm going to be even more impatiently waiting...
Is this how it all starts?
Should we start on Asimov's 3 laws or what?
Imagine having the wireless controller, using its 6-axis functions and feeling the rumble features all at the same time.
Now that's next gen enough for me.
When you see the PS2 in 3rd place and the dreamcast in 2nd, you really ask yourself what could the number 1 console be, which is exactly why the 360's rank is so wrong.
A number 1 console can only be an undisputed and irrefutable known to all and deserved one. And that is the PS2, no question about it.
Funny read though...
Are you serious !?
This is exactly the kind of new technology Sony presents to consumers, knowing what they will need and use in the future, which is exactly what the PS3 is all about.
Nice going Sony!
Would you believe it if someone told you it was the update you've been waiting for?
Would you believe it if they told you it had in-game XMB?
Would you believe it if "vm" meant some sort of special application which uses a certain programming language used by blue-ray to make use of the PS-EYE as we've seen lately all over the Web, or maybe a preperation for HOME?
Would you believe it if they told you this was the mother of all updates?
I know we all believe ...
You got it Shortstop, that is what's most annoying about them, popping up to tell you you've unlocked whatever, which in my view reduces the immersion factor, unless you get a list of what you've unlocked when you quit the game, or they could be announced from within the game environment (Imagine a character coming towards you to tell you you've reached 1000 kills or you've visited 100 locations instead of that message on the screen...that would be so much more welcome).
