good times ... I remember ground zero and sewer shark, they didnt mention Tomcat Alley - maybe that was a different company. It's a shame that the fmv games had so little replay value, but after you found the few possible outcomes in each scene it was basically point and click.
as a previous ffxi player, I'm on the fence about ffxiv. ffxi pretty much went to hell, and the devs left the playerbase high and dry after the wotg expansion. not going to even talk about the recent bannings. what's to say that ffxiv players won't get similarly up-and-forgotten about sometime after ffxiv's release?
I hope that this will get some kind of ps2 release like they did with Silent Hill 0rigins (not likely, I know :/).

I haven't seriously played ffxi in about two years, but I used to log in every week or so just to help friends. But this has just been the last straw. The game has been going downhill ever since the fourth expansion, and now it's just going to hell in a handbasket, Kupo. The developer <-> playerbase relationship is pretty much non-existant. I don't know what SE is trying to do, but if they want to keep a good image before ffxiv is released, they really should begin to have some tact for...

I've played tfc with 32 players, five years ago(granted, those servers were pretty uncommon). Valve incorporates more user feedback into TF2 than some MMOs Ive played. They could make a decent mmo if they wanted to.
