Lol, that brings back some memories. mostly of Wumpus and Save New York...
I have no less than three versions of these titles already on different platforms. Sega should really start fleshing out some of the less-ported games like Sonic CD and Chaotix, now that would be nice.
I probably would have included Jackal, Lifeforce, and Guerrilla War
moreover, you get to hold the function key, saving a whopping keystroke lol
i noticed that too. oddly enough this is only this year's list though. they probably just wanted to shake things up... seeing as over the years the "top pc games" list has been so synonymous with id titles and anything different might be a refreshing point of view. I wonder how next year's top 20 will look.
seriously. IMO, spending over $200 is a tremendous psychological barrier for a handheld, especially one thats a redesign of a 5 year old system. not saying nobody can afford this, but for that much money I could get a couple new tires for my truck, or some class textbooks. dropping the price by 50 would be a start, and until then the pspgo will sit en masse in stores.
I'm pretty sure it's an intentional play on words(like Kojima likes to do) and not a translation error
what exactly do Japanese have to do with filling an airport in Hong Kong? anyway, it's an awesome space to be in and anyone who is interested in architecture should visit at least once. I wish the PS3s were there when I stopped through a few years ago.
lol I remember seeing a similar pic in an EGM article way back when...
I'm still holding out for an explanation as to how Dr Light can disperse all those upgrade capsules for X post mortem
cool I remember that game, it was on one of the pack-in demos that came with the some of the systems iirc
mk was pretty lol but at least it had some things related to the game...take out Silent Hill and replace with Doom lol. I agree SH shouldnt be on that list ...
No doubt IW was just trying to create an engrossing single player mission. But, with the back-to-back shootings in the US so close to the release date, this scenario takes on a, entirely different tone. The media's take on it could be interesting.
nice list, got most of the bases covered.
Bold move.
The PS2 is still a champ. The fact that you can still walk into most any store and see them for sale (and selling) at this point in the system's life says alot about the success of the platform. I heart my eight year old PS2 and slim PS2.
I hadn't read what that poster wrote about ipod and I dont endorse it tbh (sorry posting at 5am lol). my point was just that if theyre going to price it that high it should have *something* more besides bluetooth, dsi has a camera so you never know? ;;
@Rmagnus
Of course I did. And I enjoy most of the games which make up the series as it is today. But my point is I don't want the series to devolve into Final Fantasy XXVIII§: Crystal Babies. I played FF11 for 3+ years only to have it forgotten about by SE for a new mmo with the FF name slapped on it. Let's be honest - the name "rapture" wouldn't get half the players that "Final Fantasy 14" would get - and it doesn't even have most of the class types which hav...
for $249 it's more than a wii or 360, or like two college books lol. not saying it's not a nice little system, but who wants to pay that much for a redesign of a system, that frankly, is almost five years old. for that price it should include alot more like supremecy mentioned 64+ gb, camera etc or a psn voucher...
Telly, what a bastard lol, also the infinite met-tools on MM games...
