I think if MS keep pushing Kinect Sony will get a bunch of ex 360 loyalists thanks to the massive amount of great games next year. It seems we are gonna split from 2 types of console (casual vs hardcore) to 3(casual vs hardcore vs cam gaming).
@mandf thats the point with Sony they have started from the ground up with PS3 they have waited and bought there time and worked closely with not only 3rd party studios but decided to get all there own doing all the big hitters in 1 year. Sure it took 4 years near enough to get here but games aren't made overnight anymore and no doubt UC3 has been in the making since UC2 went gold.
COD online isn't all that though its not hard to beat but the game sells now on brand power more than anything. I liked U2 online it reminded me of gears without the chainsaw. That was there first attempt to god knows what the next ones gonna do but i'm excited to find out.
2 years between games = win. Not milking it like Activision and MS witht ehre titles EPIC and SONY know how to do things properly..

I think we already have the 2011 GOTY people.. I hoenstly can't think of anything next year that could top this.. The best bit from Sonys point of view is it will be going head to head with MS only AAA exclusive Gears 3 next year.

Been through 3 360s and still on my 2nd ps3(launch 60gb died). I gave up on 360s due to the high death rate only. It's a shame really as for me thats a black mark on the console and no amount of redesigns will bring me my money back. So Got a PS3, Wii, 2DS, DSi, Gaming PC and a PSP slim oh and a PS2 and i'm happy with that now.

If they used all of PS3 power like it said in the article the 360 version would get the raw end of the stick I mean sure 360 gamers can disagree with me but we all know the PS3 can put out more if pushed enough games like Uncharted 2 proved this. So I don't believe this one bit. PS3 gamers will get a crappy port and then the 360 fanboys will just try give ps3 gamers and fanboys grief well guess what? We are here before the storm saying we don't care as we expect it.
Agred the RPG list is a complete waste of time most of the list is it is a very biased list. Don't even get me started on the multi-player games aswell..

IGN shouldn't be given nothing they are a bunch of game hunting freaks. They have forgotten what gamings all about and don't deserve to play great games like LBP2.
I think its due to the fact MS had a half a billion spent on Kinect advertising compared to Sonys regular advertising for a major product which I would be surprised if it was even over 1/10th of what MS spent. Like I said earlier though Sony already had casual players from games like Singstar and Buzz MS not so much so they needed to let people know HEY we do casual now too. I mean a LOT of singstar players will have got MOVE for adding interactivity including myself.

If anybody really thinks that 4.1 million or 2.5 million number that MS and Sony have been brandishing are amounts sold to customers they need there head checking as it's impossible to check them numbers. All they can do is track the numbers sold to stores. Why do MS and Sony care how many sell to consumers as long as the stores keep ordering?
People forget MS needed the marketing purely because people saw it as a more hardcore console than PS3. PS3 already had a ton of casual buyers from the people who bought games like Singstar & Buzz which have sold millions.

As much as I agree about the 360 not being dead at this announcement it's not looking bright right now for hardcore 360 gamers with the direction MS are heading.
