Yeah I am talking about the lovely day they bricked a ton of consoles with an update no other manufacturer has done that. Theres been claims on the net but none ever proven with actual FACTS. MS made the papers with the problem they were that many consoles that got bricked.
TR blows SC out the water though in terms of sales it was so damn big when released they made a multi-million dollar movie out of it with one of the biggest feamle actors of the time because it was that damn huge. Sure it's lost a lot of it's luster lately but that's since Core Design stopped making the games. They made TR big and Crystal Dynamics ruined it.
TR 1-3 were never in HD. Would be great remastered and in HD and sell so many damn copys. I know a couple of massive TR fans one who owns a ps3 and one a 360 and no doubt the 360 owner would buy a ps3 just for the first 3 games in full HD.
You can say what you want about the games but the first 3 in HD?? They will sell bucketloads! Also I think there's a few TR fans on here with only 360s and that's why some of these daft comments are coming out.

FPS cant be fun anymore there too serious the only one that was ever "fun" was timesplitters and that series is frozen so to speak right now. Crytek can make another but I doubt bulletstorm will get the same kind of fun elements TS had.
Worst 1st party game most probably but I think naughty bear was a lot worse.
FF13 took over 3 years and they didn't really start on versus until launched. So I expect about 3 years too.
Over shipped lol companys ask for consoles on demand Sony doesn't just say right amazon heres a million consoles sell them. The companys ORDER BY DEMAND. Your an idiot if you really think that there is such thing as over shipping in the gaming market for a console that's been on shelves for more than 6 months.
I agree it is but the reason the wii sold so well at first and still sells well is the low price. 360 outsells the ps3 in the US as its still cheaper and although you do get more features on the ps3 the average consumer looks at price more than that. It's why Wii still dominates the 360 and ps3 in the US and why 360 outsells ps3 as the games librarys are pretty much level right now so games ain't the major selling point.
Sales are up and a price drop would make perfect sense around probably the biggest year for ps3 since launch (2011). So it gives the opportunity to play all these great games to more people. They are making profit off hardware now and will no doubt be making a nice cash lump sum once all its 1st party games are released.
Although it is cheaper than launch now I still think price is what's holding the ps3 back over 360 more than anything else in the minds of those people ...
I think the only problem it has is although is fairly newish technology it's still going to be held back by it's hardware in the end as it's not got too much power in it that's why it needs 360 to process a lot of the information already. So as great as these updates are I just wonder will it effect games even more as we already see lag in games and this could in theory make it worse. I am not claiming it will but Ms ain't got the best track record for smooth updates have ...
HOME would work a lot better on mobile phones than the PS3. It would be a great alternative to texting..

You didn't like K2 so you wont like K3?? How silly do you sound?? Anyways after playing the BETA I can't wait for it.. It's a lot like battlefield in multi-player where you pick a class. It works really well and I prefer it rather than everybody just be the same. It's kinda like TF2 actually more than battlefield as you can build turrets etc..
I just love the fact we don't need to buy a brand new phone for this app like MS are doing with there new range of phones. They force you to buy the phone if you want official xbox app.

Because to cut they have to cut something they already have the arcade model out there. They can't make a console with less in it really can they?? They could cut the price of both there 360 models but if PS3 drops to $199 they would have trouble beating it unless they got there arcade at less than $100.
