I don't know why the first playthrough time is a problem. It was a 25 hour platinum for me. And i've played it again since.
Metroid Dread was a 8 hour first playthrough...where's the complaining for that game?

I got invested enough to actually think about the dialogue choices and actually thought for a bit which ending i wanted.
I'm a Persona simp and i still loved this game. I got extremely annoyed by SMT3 remaster random battles and annyoying dungeons but SMT V has none of that.
If you love the battle system in Persona 5 get this as it has a better one that is way more customizable.

I'm going by the available Canadian Black Friday flyer for gamestop that has Guardians at 39.99(reg79.99CAN) and Tales at 49.99(79.99) and assume PSN will have the same or cheaper. Guardians is a Deal and a bummer for people who just bought it.

Don't go buying a ton of games and end up only playing a game that's 20 bucks at the time when you spent 40 on it.

I'm 40 hours into SMTV so probably Guardians as i don't like playing long JRPGS back to back. But if Yakuza is 20 it's an insta purchase.
I like to listen to music while reading an article and having to stop the ad to resume the music is definitely annoying! You're just making me hate whatever product you're advertising!
Because they thought Battlefield was going to be Call of Duty killer this year and when the public thought the game was meh they decided to F them over.
And probably now that FFXIV is coming out on Dec 8 as well they want to get Halo MP out before FFXIV hype drowns everyone out.

People bitched about Heath Ledger being the Joker due to his resume filled with teen movies.
And no one will be concerned when Amy Henning is the writer of a game due to her resume.
So asking for track record is standard and there is no need to scream sexism right off the bat.
What would encourage devs to do more side scrollers would be not to ignore FIST as many sites didn't even bother to review it....
Returnal still has a chance to win Action game of the year unless Deathloop wins game of the year. Deathloop is the only other game of the year nominee in the Action Category.
