It's assumed that Nintendo payed for it. Probably was because it was highlighted in Nintendo directs.
But i also think it was exclusive to Switch because you can charge 60 for games that run below 20 fps and look like a Wii U game.
What i want to know is the price and enhancements...my Vita still works, both games are installed so i don't know if it is worth the 4th dip for P3P and 3rd for P4G.
Highly doubt the hate came from the Splatoon community...it was probably a kotaku article written for clicks that rilled up Twitter people that never played a second of Splatoon.
That is true...but i still want the version with the Ada campain(Seperate Ways). Even has more Wesker.
Definitely the PS5. Forespoken, FFXVI, Spider Man 2, FF7Reborn are not on PS4 and coming out next year(at least 2 for sure). You are missing out if you don't get a PS5 next year. Get it now to enjoy the best version of cross gen games right now and the train of PS5 exclusives are right around the corner.
Series X has exclusives coming out next year as well so i don't know why this article exists...hardcore gamers should know better.
"and some of the unfunniest “humor” I’ve witnessed since, well, the original No More Heroes, I suppose"
Why get someone to review a sequel who hated the original? To see if they "fixed" the humor the fan base likes?
I don't know about PS5 not having many...
Miles Morales
Demon souls
Returnal
Ratchet and Clank
Horizon 2
GT7
Etc...
Plus if you go by the rules of the article PS4 and Switch only releases would count as well.
Persona 5 Strikers
Neo: The world ends with you
Etc..
It would be a big difference.
Goal posts are moved all the time. Next year there will be a ton of posts saying Forespoken and FFXVI aren't exclusives as they are not First party.
Already seen a couple of coments saying Sony is dropping the ball next year as they only have Spider Man 2 announced for next year.
Exclusive has a different meaning depending on what narative you want.
They say remaster when they don't like it or hate the publisher/developer and want to downplay it.
Same people will also justify a remaster they want being 60.
It is what it is.
Nope. It is 63 if you are a game pass ultimate member. More specifically if you have EA play which is included in Ultimate.
You can get that price if you have EA play on playstation as well. I'm assuming PC as well.
@Pbomb
I just booted up Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 to get the reward before i could even start a match. Played Infamous on PS platinum for 5 min to get the PS3 reward.
Returnal isn't registering anything for me either.
Both Nintendo and Microsoft have done what you have listed as well...difference is Sony and Nintendo don't lie and say it was for gamers benefit.
They should have done these deals in private instead of taking it public and trying to paint themselves like a hero to the people. It's as cringe as what epic was doing during the case against apple.
If it was inevitable Microsoft wouldn't have made the website or made public statements about how they are for gamers.
They didn't do this song and dance for the bethesda deal...
Misinformation right here
"- COD is still going to be on PS, it would be suicide for MS/Activision/COD to do otherwise"
Microsoft gave Sony a 3 year extension on their current marketing rights contract that ends 2024. And coincidentally there has already been 1 call of duty canceled(2023). Wonder why?
Also warzone will not carry progression or items to Warzone 2 so that will make people move to the new game...which is just set...
Several downgraded ports of games come out for the switch every year for 60. Part 1 redid every texture to current Naughty dog quality. Don't see why that isn't worth 70 by comparison.
You can say that isn't worth it to you...and it wasn't for me. But it is magnitudes more effort than these remaster ports coming out at 60.
So i don't see why Part 1 especially deserves "hate".
Sony chose to concentrate on the VR route after the Vita failed. As a secondary market with the PS5 being the priority. They can't afford to spread themselves too thin.
And they realize that the switch's success isn't a rise in popularity for handhelds but a continuation of the success of all ages Nintendo handhelds. So why gamble again?
While i would take normally take the chance to highlight Nintendos habit of overcharging...but this is a Bethesda/Microsoft decision. Game of the year editions usually come out at 60 and the og version is reduced by then. But i guess since most games are 60 indefinitely on switch they are trying this out.
I wonder how this play out...
The game looks triple A man! What are you smoking? Don't let the EA hate cloud your judgement...
Wow...omega force leveled up with this one. Haven't been graphically impressed with a game of theirs in awhile. Glad they are taking a break from making Dynasty warriors clones.
Monster Hunter World 2 has visual standard to beat now. And competition.
@neonridr
Who's complaining? Just saying it's a payed 1 year timed exclusive(like deathloop, ghostwire). Switch version came out August of last year so it lines up.
Nintendo funded all of Bayonetta so that's why it is a full exclusive. Don't know why you brought that up.
