Yeah because I love mashing "Draw" a thousand times to stock magic for a fight.
I would disagree on X... I think its exactly what inspired XIII and made things worse from the word go. VIII the Magic System (AND THE JUNCTION) were grossly poor. It necessitated a level of grinding that the Materia system could never match just to have basic magic in your inventory.
People like you make me HATE Witcher 3. I've put in over 100 hours in that game, and now I won't touch it going on a month now because i'm so sick of it being overrated.
But... Nomura was one of the original team members. Why shouldn't he be?
You reasonable people should just shut up. I've already given up trying to convince people to stop acting paranoid. We'll just have to wait and see at this point.
lol The paranoia is real. I guess we'll see soon enough.
It's a shame we'll never see it again thanks to Square.
lol This is such a ridiculous article. No basis in facts, no first party source, nothing. Just someone blowing an opinion of negativity into a what is already a whole wind of farts. Insanity. And even if it becomes a trilogy - I will buy it. I really don't give a flying rats butt if its 180$ in total. It won't be the sticker price on one entry.
More interested to see if he'll finally do a movie like he always wanted.
If Final Fantasy VII is only Final Fantasy VII because of a severely limiting and archaic game mechanic - i'm glad the Final Fantasy VII community won't have you. The other 10 million people who are going to pick this up won't miss someone who doesn't recognize the game for its story, character's, and setting. The original is available in it's (According to you) "Final Fantasy VII" form on PSOne (play it), PSOne Classics (Again, you can play it there.), and P...
100% - all those disagrees are just nutballs in denial.
I think its sad that people are losing their marbles and drawing conclusions and making hard stances up in their heads without even touching the finished products. It's very extremist and irrational behavior.
There's standing up to someone, and being negative without provocation and getting your self-righteous soapbox out and preaching without any basis in fact. There is a huge difference. Does it REALLY matter in the end whether or not we agree? Probably not. I'd spend a thousand dollars on this Remake, you might not even rent it. It's EXACTLY what I want. I freely admit that. Does it REALLY matter if we make our decisions and form opinions on fact? Absolutely.
The issue is the commenter made the statement that it was just dead first - insinuating no other facts mattered in the conversation. I was clarifying that it definitely matters.
Every time I see your comments I see you downing everything that isn't exactly how you want it. It's incredibly indicative to the self-entitlement that developers rail against to begin with. You are not helping the cause or creating a meaningful conversation by coming into every comment section for this game and just bashing it blindly with absolutely no insight as to what is actually going on. Giving your opinion for good or ill when you've put time in the game? That I can see.
Saying you did something with no proof and no context or detail doesn't really help your point.
Gothic 2
Fallout 4
Fallout 3
Fallout New Vegas
Skyrim
If you can't grasp what non static events are and world space comparison vertically as well as world interactivity mean in game design we have nothing further to discuss on the matter.
Fun fact - it got beat out by Fallout in retail when revenues are compared. - Fallout 4 pulled in 750 million dollars of rev - CoD pulled in 550 million. So yes, it was a competition - and Playstation isn't even reporting in this blog post the exact unit number.
I used to be a fan, but this game is being seriously overrated. Its a static open world game with only static scripted events that only trigger once and never reoccur. There is literally one mini game (albeit it is fantastic.) and it follows the Assassin's Creed formula for throwing a buncha markers at you and making you feel like you're at work to hit them all.
Its a great *Freshman* open world game. But it is certainly not the *best* one i've ever seen. People ...
Its a terrible game because of mashing "Draw" a quadrillion times.
