Because it is just a GOOD game, and most of you are johnny come lately's that never read the books, didn't love Witcher 1, you are just hopping on a hipster bandwagon drummed up by the games media and your own minds. Its literally Assassin's Creed but more RPG systems. Nope, suddenly its game of the year.
So tired of this. People didn't even know who CD Projekt Red was before Witcher 3. Now all the sudden people are jumping on its jimmy because its a basic open world heavily scripted game. It was a FINE effort for their Freshman attempt at an open world. But i'm sorry, it is not Game of the Year on my list. Not even close.

Its a terrible game because of mashing "Draw" a quadrillion times. The story suited me fine. That Draw mechanic was garbo.
