If it was coming out on PS4 it would be the greatest game ever. But since its on Xbox it looks like shit. Dont be such a fan boy and admit when a game looks or plays cool. Watch how well the game sells when its released. I'm sure the shitty looking game will be game of the year.

I think everyone already knows which console is pre-selling better.
In the end, buy whichever console fits you best or you like. It's your money, spend it how you want. Don't rely on pre-order numbers or some article on here trying to sway you.

Who cares if it's coming out on PS? It's out on Xbox first and that's what matters.
Does the background really matter though? Usually your not just staring at the start-up menu. Either your playing a game, watching a video, going to an app, so yea it would be nice, but it's not really that big of a deal, to me at least. I would think it would have been an easy thing to add in, but it's not a deal breaker for me. It's just a wallpaper which is mostly going to be covered up by the icons and everything on your home page.
It's a game case. If it was poop brown and in the shape of a triangle I wouldn't care.

The past few years the only times I go into stores around the holidays is to buy a card. I thought the thumbsticks on the current 360 were perfect. Size and feel was right, so not sure why they went with smaller thumbsticks. Overall looks like they took the best controller currently, and made it even better.
Interesting because I own both systems, bought 360 first and then PS3 later. I've had the PS3 for 3 years now and have 5 games for it (Demon Souls, Little Big Planet 1 & 2, PLaystation Battle Royale, MLB The Show). I had Killzone 2, it was OK. Played the Uncharted series and after the 1st one, they all feel like Tomb Raider games (puzzles and climbing). Playing online was always a hassle because no one had a mic and sending messages was a chore and just felt clunky. Haven't played...
Good to see you still live in the past. They have invented these things called rechargeable batteries. What they are, are batteries you can recharge. You can use them in multiple applications. Unlike your trusty PS controller which has to be plugged in or planned charge, when the batteries run dry, pop in these rechargeable batteries and your good to go. Wasnt the original Kinect like $149 when it launched or something like that? So to pay only $100 for a better and more improved product is a pretty good deal. I personally could take or leave the Kinect. I'll probably only use it for Skype. But yea, I read somewhere that MS is taking a hit on the Kinect.
Just out of curiosity, what is it about this game that everyone likes? I’ve watched gameplay videos and nothing WOW’d me about it. Graphics look decent, gameplay seems arcadeish. I saw one video where the objective was to run into another car or race through gates. Seeing a Camaro with 4X4 tires and look like a monster truck was just odd. Looks like a mix between NFS and Burnout. Just curious what the draw is, that’s all. Thanks
You can get a subscription for $40.00 on eBay. And they are free as long as each developer isnt charging you to use dedicated servers. I guess you could say it's included in your membership.
It will be nice to have online games with no host advantage aka Gears and Halo. The host advantage in Gears was insane. Not to mention someone with a 56K dial up internet that they are stealing from their neighbor won't lag the room down. Or you have the jerks who use the lag switch on there modem/router. I play almost exclusively online, so this is a huge plus for me. Another reason why Live is still the gold standard. I have an online subscription for multiplayer games, not to watch Net...
From everything I've read, every game will have dedicated servers. No more host advantage. Should eliminate lag. I'm not a tech junkie but I feel like lag will always be there and disconnections will still be around. But supposedly all dedicated servers for all multiplayer games.
Close quarter run in gun, no strategy, graphics look "eh" at best, arcade style OR vehicles, destructive environments, massive maps, huge online player count, graphics look phenomenal....I think I'll take BF4
