Sorry but giving away REAL full games like Halo or even Crackdown, that's pretty good. I don't want free indie games or a free arcade game. Plus the nice thing with these games is you get to keep them, they are yours. Download to your hard drive and your all set.
I wouldn't go as far as saying sucks. Go play Iron Man and tell me which is worse lol.
Personally, I prefer BF series. COD is just to much of the same thing over and over with new maps. I guess you can say the same thing about BF, I just prefer large scale battles. I've seen both games and I wasn't impressed with COD. BF looks amazing, COD looks good but I expected better.
The best games is strictly opinion based. For me, I prefer multiplayer games and a lot of my friends have Xbox's, so I'm getting an X1. Uncharted, Last of Us, excellent top tier games, but I'm not huge on mostly single player driven games. Yes they have an online feature, but it's not like gears, halo, killzone, cod, BF, etc. Cross platform games, I prefer playing them through Xbox Live.
There's no doubt that Sony has excellent first party games, but we...
Wii-U has been a disaster. Nintendo hit a home run with the Wii but now with Kinect and the PS Eye, I think the whole motion sensing thing has caught up and the hype is slowly dying. I liked Nintendo when they had just a simple system like the Gamecube and N64. I like Nintendo games but have you seen the games out now? Go into Gamestop and look at the Wii games, it’s laughable.
Anything you buy can have a chance of breaking. Heck, brand new cars are sometimes broken or defective and look how expensive they can be. You have to figure too that anyone that has a working PS4 isn't going to post that there's works fine, it's only the people experiencing problems that are which is why is seems like a lot.
I wouldn't worry about. You get a warranty on the system. I think I went through 5 Xbox 360's lol
You realize that Sony could take a dump in plastic box and label it the PS5 and people would still buy it and defend it. The PS4 could break in half, catch fire, or contain plutonium and PS fanboys would still say it's the greatest thing. Heck, the PS4 has a wobbling issue and the responses have been "use a dremmel", "buy rubber feat for it", or "its not a big deal." You know damn well that if the X1 has any flaw, PS fanboys will make it out to be the RROD pa...
@BBBirdistheWord
"Sony, to be clear, has been playing it safe. The ps4 is basically the same as the ps3 plus a few pixels. There is no way to dispute this."
Thank you for saying that because you are correct. The X1 was trying to be next gen and instead they got blasted for it, changed their ways, and now two systems that practically do the same thing.
And all these people talk and cry about "i lost my trust" or "they ...
No one buys a $400 or $500 system to watch movies on or access Skype. You buy a $400 or $500 system for video games. All the other stuff is just a bonus. That stuff has always been part of gold. And according to the amount of Live users, it's not a big deal. Sony fans just want anything to grab on to.
Theres 2 way's of looking at: 1. PS+, your paying $50 just to play online. 2. Xbox Live, your paying $50 for online and a bunch of other features. So, which is the bette...
Lol that is the truth. Bubble for you sir.
Then again, who's to say the X1 design is flawless until we all get our hands on it :/
There is no reason something like this should happen on a $400 system. I see all these posts like "use a dremmel tool" or "buy some rubber pads." You shouldn't have to modify your brand new $400 PS4, that's unacceptable. Would that keep me from buying it? Not at all, but it's just one of those things where you buy something brand new you don't expect to have to modify it. No one's going to be pushing on the top sides of the system so it's not really...
So, according to your math:
X1
-System $500
-2 games $120
-Live $45
Total = with tax, roughly $700
PS4
-System $400
-2 games $120
-PS+ $45
Total = with tax, roughly $600
You price the X1 at $700 but neglect to mention PS4 will be roughly $600 as well. Your acting like the X1 will cost $700 but the PS4 is only $400. You could get a decent mid range PC for that price of a loaded PS...
A review shouldn't deter you. Reviewers have their favorites and can be biased. They could give Forza 5 a 1/10 and I'd still buy it.
Doesn't ND basically just make single player games? Uncharted has an online but lets be honest, no one buys it to play online. ND makes beautiful games but theres a reason why COD, BF, Halo, and Gears sell so well, it's the multiplayer. And now here comes Titanfall. If you like single player exclusives, PS is for you. I played all 3 Uncharted's and after I beat them, sold them. The replay value is very low. I didn't play Last of Us, but I assume it's not a heavy multiplaye...
You forget Sony's little jabs here and there. What comes around goes around. Everyone's been talking poorly about MS including Sony, so the fact that their reviews have been less than stellar is warranted. Is only Sony allowed to talk trash or throw jabs? Sony has been pounding their chest this whole time. And now that MS throws a jab, all the Sony fans are wetting themselves.
Not sure how much the 1080 means when your getting scores of 5/10 on IGN for Knack. You can polish up a piece of sh*t but at the end of the day, it's still a piece of sh*t. I don't mean that towards knack, im just saying in general it doesnt matter how pretty a game looks if it plays terrible and isn't fun. Would you rather have a 1080 game that is "eh" to play, or a 720 that is awesome?
I agree it's going to be tough to get these. X1's even more so because they don't even have enough to launch in every country like they were supposed to. I remember PS2's were going for like $700-$800 on eBay when they came out. 360's were tough to find. I think these systems will be tough to get if you didnt preorder one.
Just preorder the bundle, then sell the game and extra controller if you don't want it. I'm sure you can find someone who wants both of them. For an extra $169, your getting a $60 game, $60 controller, and a year of PS+, so it's not THAT great of a deal, maybe save like $10. But at least you'd have a system for sure.
Look on eBay now. Preorders going for $200+ on eBay ($700 range). All people did was preorder it on Amazon, sell the preorder on eBay, then change the shipping address to the address of the eBay buyer. After all the fees, probably make yourself $150 on each one. I'm sure it's going to be tough to get your hands on an X1 or PS4 by Christmas if you didn't preorder it. Plus if it doesnt sell on eBay, you return it. So you got nothing to lose.
Congrats for them. Bunch of my friends are getting an X1, some are getting both. Those that were PS3 owners are getting PS4. I don't personally know anyone who's switching from either side to the other at launch. I've got a 360 and a PS3, well had, I just sold the PS3 on eBay.
I'll be honest, I didn't have high hopes for this game. All the people blasting the PS4 reviews of Knack and whatever else, just wait till Ryse. I have a feeling it's going to be great graphics, crappy game play and will get a score around a 5. Forza will be the highest rated game for the X1.
