So true, I think the lack of games (Zelda remKe is great and all but no killer app) hurt sales more than the price.
You realize that you just said Nintendo will make back the loss in game sales but you plan on getting used games....none of that money will go to Nintendo.
What's really stupid is that nobody really cares about the 3D aspect which is probably the most pricey part. People would have been happy with a simple DS2 with two analogs, a sharper screen and more power.
What I personally saw when 3DS was first released was a $250 portable Gamecube with a 3D gimmick I'll probably turn off and only one dam analog!
American/western media is all very white-centric, it almost seems like white propaganda sometimes.
I have nothing against white people but every main hero and hottest girl is alwas white in almost every movie, tv show and game and every non-white is a manifestation of an exaggerated cultural stereotype.

I think the 3DS mistake may be good overall for the Wii U launch. Nintendo really should try and release that at $250.
4 gig 360 slims are already 150 bucks at Xmas time, given that Wii U is of similar power and HD size it shouldnt be more than 300.
IGN already has a dedicated channel on 360s OS. That's not bad persay, but the fact that it's only on 360 raises questions.

MS should just tell the marketing people to make a new slogan and release wands for Kinect.
Kinect should be amazing but as of now it doesn't work that well for gaming, it could with wands but MS created Kinect around the marketing department.
It's sad when the suits are telling the creators what to make and how to make it.
I think charging 60 bucks ad releasing completed broken games (Crysis 2) is eating into console gaming.
After I pay full price for a broken game, the idea of pirating becomes more and more appealing.

I wouldn't say Nintendo is doing that badly, their just not dominating any more.
The games doesn't look like it will compete well with other shooters coming out around the same time.
Meaning its on my 2012 buy it for 20-30 dollars during the summer drought list.
But hey, that doesn't mean it won't be great too, I got RE5 and AC Brotherhood for 20 bucks this summer and they're well worth 40.
