Dead Island outsold it, I also blame Sony, they market so poorly - R3 should have been talked about way more by journalists by 'wink' 'wink' advertising more.
When MS releases an exclusive it's a freakin event, everyone knows about it, even non-360 owners. When PS3 releases and exclusive half of the PS3 owners don't know about it and the ones that do, have no hype/anticipation for it.
Good games don't sell themselves anymore unles...
I honestly think PS3 owners are the cheapest in gaming. All my friends switched over to PS3 either because their 360 broke or due to free online and they only buy 2-3 games a year and put 100s upon 100s of hrs into MP.
Generally they play their fav mainstream sports and shooter games all year until the next version releases. They never even hear or care about all the other amazing games that come out.
There's no point getting bad 3D though, not sure whether or not that TVs 3D is good, just FYI.
Check the reviews. And generally, I think Plasma is better for 3D

I don't care if they have 30 second commercial/previews when I load in a game if it adds money to dev costs. Movies have it and it doesn't bother me.
Next gen, if we see a big upgrade in power, will be very very expensive to make AAA games. I'd prefer ads to monthly fees.

If you're saying that to brag, you're a bit of a prick but if you're saying it to demonstrate that the differences offered by high sound quality won't be detected on crappy TV speakers or shit home theatre boxes, I agree.
It takes a relatively good sound system to detect differences in sound quality.

Avatars look childish on 360 but they look ridiculous on Windows 8.
MS needs to give the option not to use avatars, I feel a little too old to have a cartoon version of myself every time I turn the system on, plus it doesn't really leave a great impression with the ladies when you want to watch a DVD.
I own Move, now is not the time. KZ3 is amazing with it (the best FPS controls on consoles ever IMO) but Sony isn't creating any AAA games for it from the ground up.
Kinect games are held to a much lower standard apparently. Joystiq gave this and Child Of Eden perfect scores (5/5, 100%).
Seems if the controls aren't shit the game is automatically amazing.

I really liked the MP in those games but the SP could have been so much richer - none of those games are offering experiences like Half-Life 2 or Bioshock. They're typical FPS campaigns common to the COD generation of SP style - short and action packed but ultimately, very shallow and forgettable.
The SP in most games is more Steven Seagal than Martin Scorsese.
Single player is dying because GAMERS don't support it. Look as Dues Ex, the game has one of the best SP I've played in a while but the sales are mediocre.
ME2 had an amazing SP experience - the sales were mediocre.
Most people I know now buy 2-4 MP centric games a year (shooters and sports) and log 100s of hrs into them and ignore everything else.

It would be nice if it could play Blu-ray movies too....Sony computers use Windows, I don't see what MS would have against using Blu-ray.
Blu-ray won the format war, deal with it and adopt/adapt (maybe it wouldn't have won if 360 had HDDVD standard instead offering it as a second thought add-on), .

Already pre-ordered PS3 version, multiple discs isn't that bad but given the option of a single or multiple discs (which I have), it would be stupid to go with multiple discs.
Also, all my friends have PS3s now, which is weird because they all used to have 360s. RROD and bad drives is still hurting MS.
I think Bioware makes amazing games - the difficulty in ME2 was too hard on the hardest difficulty though, it punished you for continuing with your character.
