Exactly!! You can forget about taking your fav game over so you and your bud can take turns having some online fun. Now everyone has to take turns at one anothers' house or BYOS.
Boy that sounds like fun!!
You are almost correct. It's sole purpose is to ELIMINATE the used and rental game market. Do you know what happens when they are gone? They then can charge you a ridiculous price for EVERY game there after.
I can't believe people can not see where this is headed for gaming. First, I'd like to say I'm all for devs getting rich off of their hard work. THEY deserve it. If the devs are going to get a LARGE part of this new income than I am all for it. But you an...
How is this guy still able to post ANYTHING? All he post is flamebait with no intention to add to the discussion.

Not to hate on the Wii, but there is little the Wii has to offer that I'd like to see in the ultimate gaming machine. I love the UI of the 360. Hands down it is the most user friendly UI I've encountered on a system in a long time.
I love EVERYTHING about live except that you have to pay for it. I feel like such a fool p...
Most posters NEVER read the articles, they just want to post something that has nothing to do with the article and downplay the author, or start some trivial back and forth about mines bigger than yours...
I've stopped playing MW2 for this very reason alone. I don't mind the cheaters, glitches, etc, as long as I can play on one of my preferred maps. Why in the hell does Estate and Wasteland come up so freaking much?
WTH man, it seems like there are only 5 maps the way the matchmaking is set up. UGH!
But alas, there will not be a beta, because then flaws would be found that need to be fixed that they don't or want to fix for whatever reason, which migh...
lol, do you always let other people's opinion affect your personal decisions? A better statement would have been " I'll rent it first ".
I'll never understand gamers who take a complete strangers word on how good or bad a game is...
I am so glad that Gears3 is coming this gen, I was worried they were saving it for the next.
So many games to play, so little time...
lol, I still don't understand how $15 for three new maps is tempting to these people.
And they have no one to blame but themselves...
They are simply telling a half truth due to some contract agreement I bet. If he really wanted to kill all the rumors he simply would have made a more definitive statement, which he didn't. Very smart wordplay on his part.
Fixed
or dead space if you haven't played it yet, really good and pretty cheap to pick up right about now
Dude, you should really be on MS payroll. You do such a great job at defending their honor for free I can only believe that you would truly go all out if they paid you.
I can't believe ANYONE would give Acti MORE money after they've already made it plain and clear that they plan on raping us in the future. You're gonna PAY for sum rushed out maps so they can cash in on a watered down version of a game while they can? WOW...anyway, enjoy.
how am I contradicting myself? What you're implying is that the Wii-mote and the Arc are the same tech, which I'd have to say they are not. I'm quite sure if the tech was the same SONY would have to pay Nin some type of royalties, which is not the case. The only similarity is they provide the same end result.
You wouldn't be able to make the EXACT same game for the ps3 and the Wii, so no ports and no cost saving porting does for you. You could make a similar game, but it would NOT be th...
lol, I think your hopes are WAAAAAY too high...
The mechanics are NOT the same, it's not that simple. I'm sure the Wii-motes are patented and it would not be a simple port, some coding would have to change. If it was the same tech why not expand your consumer base? And ALL companies WANT to expand their consumer base to the fullest.
His first reason states it's because it would bring direct competition to the Wii, which he doesn't want to do. Working with Natal will give him a chance to expand his customer base, not divide it. Simple business move and a smart one.
WOW!!!!
No, it's not. But for some reason most consumers' don't see that, as evidence provided from posts on here...
