What a sequel actually needs is a different core loop that isn't to just wander around unlocking camp fires and cauldrons. No way all those cauldrons can get locked again after the first 2 games.
Damage Control at it's finest!
2 new studios already got formed from ex-blizzard vets. Gas Giant Games and Magic Soup Games.
How's Rare working out for Microsoft? Everwild releasing soon? Where's Fable?
Combine that with MS uncanny ability to completely mismanage studios, they will have paid $69B for an empty shell. IPs are worthless without the talent behind them.
So who's going to question the rest on their "Pro-Microsoft stance" ?! This isn't only one way.
@obscure
Thats the biggest cope ive seen from you yet! So because Sony in the past didn't have interest to acquire every single small dev studio they could get their hands on, it makes all their efforts null of nurturing organically? Ever think that they had eyes on other studios at the time? Ever think that it was only MS that started this whole arms race and Sony didnt have to acquire anybody until MS decided to begin gobbling up the industry? As you said Sony had a g...
That's because it's a brand new studio and they haven't released any games yet.
@Foxtrot
GaaS doesnt work for Suicide Squad because what they showed genuinely was not interesting as all characters play exactly the same, also making it a service game isnt at all what gamers expect from the studio. This is NOT a GaaS problem, this is a studio problem and making it into a type of game that doesnt fit what we're seeing in the gameplay. GaaS could have worked for it if the gameplay was completely different as well as the characters.

What's wrong with Sony trying to bolster and compete in what is by far their worst area in Multiplayer? Would be pretty epic if Sony could be the dominant force in both Single and Multiplayer.
Why would Bungie not make another GaaS, its what they are all about.
Jade Raymond's Haven is already confirmed to be making a GaaS so there is no guessing.
Of course GoT 2 will have MP, as it was a massive success in the first game, so aga...
I just want to know that since there's literally ZERO chance of him paying the entire amount that is due to Nintendo, does the remaining debt fall on his next of kin when he dies??
@Abra
Games that were supposed to be multiplat? Which games, name them. Unless you only mean all the studios Xbox acquired.
@ravens52
?!?!?
Are you actually attempting to compare Sony acquiring a brand new no-name studio of 150 devs to MS buying 2 entire publishers that include multiple studios and a large chunk of the industries most popular ips?
Yes, it is absolutely acceptable for Sony to approach acquisitions of this nature, MS should follow suit as this is how you acquire without massive disruption.
Studio is made up of devs who have worked on:
Call of Duty, Destiny, Apex Legends, Mass Effect, Overwatch, The Avengers movie franchise, Pacific Rim, Inside Out, Up, and Cars 2
Big "press X to doubt" on the line on dedicated consoles not existing in 10yrs time", that will of course be Xbox's future yes since right now there is no reason for anyone to own an Xbox, but Sony is a hardware maker and the PS machine is a large part of their business and there is no signs at all of demand slowing down. Not to mention 10yrs time is about 1.5 console lifespan cycles as we generally see new machines every 7yrs.
In order for dedicated mach...
Good to see Sony bolstering the Live Service studio lineup, if even 1 service game is a success that will be a major revenue stream for them.
Also will be needed in the war of Live Service Games VS Subscription Services as the "future of gaming".
We are also already seeing sub service spending going down since every company and their dog feels the need to pull content onto their own subscription services.
@BandarHub
Thats not an answer. If you can't list them yourself then i'm going to assume there are no merits. Anyone can link a bunch of articles that all vomit the same thing.
lmao 50% of your links don't even work and the rest are just a bunch of general impressions with endless paragraphs of reading. Again linking a bunch of general previews of the game is not an answer lol I highly doubt you yourself even read 100% of what those articles s...
On length:
"A normal playthrough can easily amount up to 20-25 hours, depending on your playstyle, and if you want to explore every corner of the world and fight every mini-boss, it can take you much longer!"
Pretty solid length! Shaping up to be a hidden gem of a game that should not be ignored.
Nice cope lol Sea of Thieves is the definition of mid average with a ton of problems.
And the correct answer about Fable is no, it's not coming out. Equal chance as Half Life 3 lol
