You clearly dont understand what was meant. Company's PAID Microsoft to put that sticker on their PCs. The amount they got from company's was around 1.5b.
This has nothing to do with Vista sales.
They did not lose any money with Vista...On July 17, 2008, Microsoft announced that it had sold 180 million licenses, which would amount to between 36 and 57 billion dollars in gross retail sale price. Initial development of the software was claimed, by Microsoft, to be 6 billion dollars.
So no, despite what everyone says, Vista was far from a failure.
Im assuming you dislike Diablo as well?
Thats some epic twisting of words you got going there.
The 360 does have the highest software attach rate Morgan...
By March 2008, the Xbox 360 had reached a software attach rate of 7.5 games per console in the US – a record for any console in history; the rate was 7.0 in Europe, while its competitors were 3.8 (PS3) and 3.5 (Wii), according to Microsoft. That was in march.
Right now the console has a software attach rate of 8.1. Google it if you don't believe me but next time don't talk without thinking first.
Well Famitus gave level 5s last big game on the PS2, Rogue Galaxy, a 35/40.
Yet stupid speculation and conspiracy theories like this doesn't stop the 360 from having the highest console software attach rate in history.
Its an easter egg the devs put in because they needed a break from crunch time... Don't use it if you don't like it
Cant think for yourself eh Theone?
How did you come to the conclusion that reporting a problem some people have with a program is epic fail?
Yeah Gothic 1 and 2 were great games, if a little lacking in polish on release but Gothic 3 was chocked full of bugs and had a worse combat system then the first 2 games.
Wow that's just... stupid. Its not like Atari made either of those games anyway. They are called a Publisher for a reason.
eh? why would you care. So basically you would rather have less people have the opportunity to play a game... Sounds kinda selfish.
Epic actually owns the Gears of War IP, but Microsoft own the exclusive right to publish all of the games released in the main series.
Any spin-off however is still up in the air. But I doubt Microsoft wouldn't snatch anything up that Epic feels like making.
Yeah, and unsurprisingly running 2 OS at the same time (what boot camp does) uses a lot of system resources up that are needed to play games...
If you want to game why buy an Apple PC to run windows when you can just buy a Windows PC.
I exclusively use the Shotgun in 1v1 encounters and my K:D ratio is 2.2... maybe you need to learn how to aim the shotgun before complaining about it.
Its a good thing gearsofwar.com keeps all of your kill stats for each weapon, Epic will see how many kills people have with the shotgun and not give in to the complaints.
If someone gives a game a review that you disagree with, you consider it biased. It seems like just about every review site on the net is biased one week and completely dependable the next... Well if people on here were to be believed.
You clearly just cant take it that someone has a different opinion about a game then what you have set in your head it should be.
Maybe you should care less about the sites agenda and more about the review itself. Do what I do, compare...
Nothing like fast and overly defensive reply's to know you are right. Sounds like you guys are still trying to convince yourselves more then anyone else.
My God people are so paranoid on this site...
Really? 99%? Maybe I should pull a random number out of my arse and state it for fact.
Everyone I know who runs Vista on their computers intentionally chose to run it. They all had the choice to run either it or XP and they chose Vista. Why? Because they all know its superior to XP. And saying that Vista requires 3gigs of Ram to run smoothly is kinda, you know, a bit exaggerated...
And Vista using up lots of CPU power? Wow were did you get that one from? I'm running ...
