That would be the game dubbed "Survivor" which is not made by Lionhead at all.
The game Lionhead is working on is called "Justice" at the moment and if you take time to look at all of the concept art for it, it gives the impression that you are a criminal on the run.
The consistency issues is probably to do with the fact that all websites/magazines have more than 1 person reviewing games... and you know some peoples opinions vary...
Yeah because EDGE didn't give Gears of War 1 and Mass Effect both 7/10s and of course they would never give a PS3 exclusive like LBP 10/10 and game of the year...
oh wait...
Ok, well tell me when God gets around to making that game then...
or umm maybe because the original Dead Rising only came out this gen...
So you say you only really care about graphics?
The content of the demo wasnt impressive? It gives you a 1v1 Skirmish map to use against the AI which allows you to play both the Covenant and UNSC, and in turn allows you to see both of their tech trees and the way each side differs in play style. And thats on top of the 2 campaign missions.
I fail to see how the content of the demo was not impressive.
Llort do you seriously believe that Microsoft has to do much for Halo Wars to sell a lot?
I mean its got the word Halo on its front cover.
Im guessing a lot of Halo fans will pick it up even if they have never ever touched a RTS before, and then most likely most of them will return the game because they will find any RTS to complicated...
Personally I will be getting Dawn of War 2 for my RTS needs unless the Halo Wars demo blows me out of the water.
Look at Killzone, it cant be that hard?
Are you kidding? No of course its not hard, it would just cost them 60 million dollars to make...
Maybe a better example would of been a lower budget but still amazing game like Uncharted.
Well as long as Ensemble pulled off the a console control scheme it should hopefully be good. Don't know about it being the best RTS ever as he seems to believe it to be but ill reserve judgment till I have had a try of it at least.
Have you even played the entire game? No? Then how can you tell if the game is overly hard or not?
You cant, all the reviews for this game have been positive, yet you still manage to find something to complain about.
"Uh, halo wasn't the first one to do this. How old are you? Halo simply made it popular, that's why YOU think Halo made it first. As somebody said above, Halo did for FPS on consoles what FF7 did for JRPGs in the West."
Really, what console action FPS before Halo introduced regenerating health or the ability to only carry 2 weapons, or a single button for grenades/melee or advanced friendly AI, among other things?
Dunno why but a lot of people forget about the large amount of NPCs that fought with you throughout the original Halo, something that had not be done much in the past and so successfully.
This, among other things like Health Regeneration and global melee is why people say Halo innovated the genre... because it did.
Uhh didn't Microsoft advertise Halo 3 during the superbowl? So wouldn't that make Microsoft marketing team failures as well, Iif we were to go by your stupid logic...
Without any good games? Iunno about you but personally I think the Warhammer 40k, Company of Heroes and Saint Row series are pretty good, not to mention other gems such as Rise of Nations and Red Faction.
Personally the biggest draw of this piece of DLC is the change in environment and setting. I mean many people have been playing in a totally dry and barren wasteland for 50+ hours and then you get thrown into a frozen battlefield. Seems like a nice change of scenery.
10/10 x 4 = 40/40. 4 people review the game. Simple maths.
This was released for the PC and it cost money. And no Bethesda have been selling DLC on the PC for longer then on consoles.
Destructoid gave it a good review.
Around 2 gigs I think. Not entirely sure though. And no, its not 1 gig considering a lot of game demos go up to 1+ gigs.
