Most sony devs dont use Havok physics any how. I believe they are created but this is just MS being themselves again.
EDIT: Forgot about the wee wii, I dont think they use or even need any type of realistic physics system, I dont know if stars count in the deal, or bricks in the agreement.
Oh ya and if im not mistaken the card in the PS3 is a Nvidia, sony could work with them to get some PhysX action.

Ya your right God of War did have a large impact on the industry, seeing as how practically every game since God of War has had quick time events (I know they didn't invent it).
