My comment was a little vague by it I meant that the UE3 engine being used on a game being developed on the PS3 should not have any effect on the performance of the game.
There is nothing wrong with the 2.42 update if you really wanna pay attention too the morons on the PS forums go ahead because that happens on every firmware.
At an E3 (cant recall which one) epic (and sony?) announced that the UE3 would also be optimized on the PS3, I don't know how far that got. But I don't think it should really make a difference.

Ok you still need disk in the drive when you install too the Hard drive and the problem is that not all xbox 360s were shipped with hard drives or very little hard drive space.
