Unfortunetly, because of the 360's weak hardware, PS3 version of multiplatform games have to be dumbed down, even if it was lead platform, just for the sake for that the 360 wouldn't be able to handle the amazing technology PS3 produces in upcoming exclusives.

multi platforms run better on 360 is because the engine was 360-based, the 360 uses HLSL for rendering, PS3 uses Cg, which is not fully compatible with HLSL, the beyond3d people were talking about this some time ago, with why PS3 games were running so badly, then some smart individuals came up and asked them that are they using HLSL code to PS3, apparently that was the problem...

I've yet to see a game on the 360 with 60 players online, I suppose it could, but only on 1 map, and may suffer from framerate drops...
