You my friend don't know shít about Hideo Kojima, the greatest game director of them all, at least he is smarter than any other developer as he chose the PS3 and not the clownbox to create MGS4 for obvious reasons...
360 very powerful? ROFL, muhahahahaha, I bet the game will be 585p native res, because remember, Itagaki said the same thing and you know what res NG2 was :D
Look, the guys a troll, no worries about this useless media behaviour...
nice post there about the PS2's CPU, this is a perfect example to show that Bruce doesn't know what he's talking about...
How many times do I have to say this?, again, the infamous RSX weaker than Xenos arguement, I'll tell you now that the RSX is stronger than Xenos in some areas, so I confirm them both equal in terms of performance and quality, I'm not even going to go into more detail, but I'll just say that when the next OpenGL updates come for the RSX (which is what it was designed for, aswell as working with the Cell), that will shut Bruce up...
PlayStation 3 will surpass the Xbox 360 this year and next, NPD numbers are going PS3's way this year, and that's only the beginning of world domination.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Tekken is a Sony-Namco project, you can see the Sony logo on the series front covers, now how is it going to the 360?, why is it, because of FFXIII, people think it's the end of the world? rofl
PlayStation 3 is indeed a monster, mainly because of the bandwidth between Cell & RSX is higher than anything else.
After looking at Gears 2 (which doesn't look like an improvement to me), then you can clearly see the 360 is being maxed out....
um, isn't it SUPPOSED to match the 360 version?, I agree with this article, because I wouldn't think 2K Games would put too much effort into it, as they would of made it look alot better on PS3....
The problem with PS3 install's is because the seek times are worse on blu-ray, developers opt to use the hard drive since it's seek times are lower, but you need to run the game from it (which is tricky), but with it being worse on blu-ray, it's an advantage, because blu-ray reads the same data across the entire disk, unlike the DVD drive. Developers are just finding ways to take advantage of how blu-ray transfers data...and then the install's will be a thing of the past...
The Cell has done the animations on the game, perhaps a few others, and for the last fúcking time, Konami would have to start all over again because the 360 would not be able to handle of what it's like on the PS3!!!!
Just another clown tactic from Microsoft, no worries.
Still not better than what we saw from the PS3 version...
32 players?, :O, for a game like this, it could mean that we are starting to witness the PS3's true potential...
Jesus...what can I say?, this is going to be an AAA, and still pre-alpha code?, lol, imagine the final build!!
The PS3's blu-ray drive is only slightly faster than the 360's DVD drive, it does seem that DVD does read from the outside faster, but that rarely happens...
but to simplify this, the install's are because developers have not yet taken advantage of blu-ray technology, and they have been doing these install's ever since the PS3 came out, they should go away in the future.
ofc it's impossible, can anyone give me a 360 game that looks like mgs4?...
and I say this now, this game has only used 40 to 43% of PS3 power :D
Crap video quality, but this will be an awesome game.
Unfortunetly people, if it is indeed a port for the 360 version (which I don't think it will be), then it will have to dumb down the PS3 version's graphics in order for the 360 to save itself from overworking....
Do you have a source about that 25% removal?
I agree that the OS uses around 32MB to 48MB, however, Sony can bring it down whenever they want to, they have done before.
CPU, please, the PS3 has a 10x advantage here, no joke, the Xenon has 3 cores, but they don't have a communication system, they have to sift through L2 cache or RAM if there’s any data that needed to be transferred between them, whereas the Cell has a 300GB direct bandwidth connection to all of the SP...
