I love Warhawk! So ahead of its time!

By how offended you are, you prove you're an Xbox fan, hence I seriously doubt you played Bloodborne. Almost every aspect of Bloodborne had more effort put to it, from world design, atmosphere, and story (which is almost non existent in DS3 compared to the other Souls games). There's a lot of objective reasons to think that Bloodborne is better and it has nothing to do with it being exclusive. It's just a matter of taste.

As much as I've been enjoying DS3, I noticed that the most memorable parts are the references to the other games. It's one after the other. But I'm close to beating the game and I barely remember the bosses. To me Bloodborne was way more intriguing and the atmosphere was amazing. I just felt BB was a more complete package.

I have a gaming rig and it never even crossed my mind to buy the game for PC. Dark Souls 1 on PC was bad enough to make me hate the cheating PC community in these games. I just went for the PS4 version instead. I'll take weaker performance over cheaters any day.

Media black out is NEVER they right thing to do. What this tells me is that Nintendo themselves aren't even sure of the direction they are headed.

Haven't finished DS3 yet, but overall the world design in Bloodborne was superior. DS3 feels pretty linear. Also since the combat in BB was pretty standard across builds, boss fights had clear strategies and weak points that you could exploit and they felt much more engaging imo. In DS3 you just kinda spam something until the boss is dead. Don't get me wrong, I'm liking DS3, but I feel BB was a better thought out and more polished game.

It's funny that there seems to be more outrage about this, which to my knowledge hasn't even been confirmed yet than there ever was for the BS that Nintendo pulled with newer 3DS. If it's about running games nicer, it's always good to have options.

Have you ever actually played Doom? And we're not talking the modern one, we're talking the classic. "Campaign" doesn't mean story. It just refers to the single player experience. And Doom basically had zero story. You're some military dude, a portal to hell opened up in the moons of Mars. Go! It was all about the gameplay, finding secret rooms and blowing the crap out of everything. They are trying to go back to their roots. So people expecting something "dee...

I don't know. I think a lot of people have their franchises mixed. Altough Doom is one of the pioneers of fps mp, it was never a huge thing. Back in the day you would have some very dedicated people who actually had Internet set up servers to play. Other would make lan parties. But it was a very rudimentary thing. It was QUAKE that revolutionized fps mp and kicked it off to what it has eventually become. Doom was always about running through hallways and shooting the crap out of hordes of...

I have to agree that Bloodborne was a badass game in every aspect of the word. The smooth combat, the Gothic architecture, almost all the looks for the hunter were stylish.... I'm really liking DS3, don't get me wrong. But going back to a medieval setting and trying to rekindle the flame makes this game feel a little dated even though it's brand new. And is it just me or does the interface overall look really ugly in general? I literally beat Old Hunters the same day I got DS3 and...

Um... Who are this so called "fans"? Souls fans know for a fact that these games have a difficulty curve that is overcome by playing patiently, persistently and learning from your mistakes. This is what makes the game so rewarding. The ones that usually talk about how incredibly difficult these games are are the people who play the series casually. As a matter of fact, it was the fans encouraging people to give Demon's Souls a try that gave way to Dark Souls and its sequels.With...

Iron Sword was BRUTAL. Actually most NES games were. I remember when Ninja Gaiden came out fo the Xbox and people were talking about how hard it was and I was like "Pfffft! Play Ninja Gaiden for the NES. Now THAT'S hard!"

Why is Bully on that pic? Sure there was controversy surrounding that game because of the name. But anyone who played it knows that it was actually quite the opposite. You beat the crap out of the actual bullies in that game

In the article he also says :

"Surprisingly, I do believe that lowering the difficulty level in the Souls series would dilute the experience somewhat."

Yet, you don't understand why people don't want an easy mode? I'm convinced this is just a click bait article at a moment where the hype for DS3 is at an all time high. This guy is an idiot.

Dark SoulCalibur, lol.

Typical. People don't know how to tackle a challenge so they want the bar lowered for them. The fans of the series got our asses kicked countless times. The difference is we PERSEVERED. And that made the challenge all the more satisfying. If it's too much for you, play something else. Or watch a stream of someone playing the game or something. There are alternatives. You can even call two other people to help with the bosses. There's really no excuse.

Can anyone tell me what's different about that controller?

I don't even own an Xbox and it's obvious this is sensationalist crap. Especially considering the game isn't even out. So we'll see what this "reaction" is when people vote with their wallets.
