This has to be one of the stupidest articles I've ever read. Rape isn't used as a plot device, for starters, considering Lara isn't raped, just nearly sexually assaulted by the Russian leader, and all he did was breathe on her neck and caress her arm.

Either way, I never would have considered the Wii U to be a repeat of the Wii--it seems to offer quite a different experience. It's like the Xbox and the Xbox 360, as well as the Playstation 2 and Playstation 3 - not repeats, but steps forward in terms of innovation and whatnot.

Regardless, I doubt Tomb Raider would be released on the Wii U--the last two games that were on the Wii (Anniversary and Underworld) were immensely watered down, and even the developers said they weren't proud of that. I just can't see it happening given the past.
The trailer has only the PS3, Xbox, and PC icons, so no Wii U.

Well of course there's going to be advancements--Quantic Dream is well known to made significant leaps from game to game.
While some of this remains true, it's also incredibly one-sided. Tomb Raider took inspiration from Indiana Jones, and Uncharted took inspiration from both Indiana Jones and Tomb Raider, but Uncharted is on a completely different playing field than Tomb Raider, by way of numerous aspects. Tomb Raider isn't "the master."
I'm a huge Tomb Raider fan, but I won't stand idly by while someone bashes the Uncharted series, a critical and immense success.
