Indeed. 45,000 lines of dialogue with 30,000 of them being forced gay jokes and remarks.
A well-written review, but basically another copy/paste job from more popular gaming websites.
Coming from experience with avid Call of Duty fans, the only reason Black Ops 2 slummed in sales compared to Modern Warfare 3 is because most of them aren't fans of Treyarch's take on the franchise. Wait a bit until the next Infinity Ward instalment comes around. Shouldn't be long now.
I wasn't aware video gaming was in trouble. Even still, I can understand why some would think Grand Theft Auto V do the job...however, as much as I'd hate to admit it as I am a huge GTA fan, the Grand Theft Auto games aren't much in the way of original. It's the same formula as the past titles, just this time with GTA V, the graphics are improved, it has more features, and the mechanics have been revamped.
Well, now that the obvious has been stated...
Rockstar has never released yearly Grand Theft Auto titles, so why would they start now? Same goes for loadouts and kill-streaks.
For those who are sceptical, Rockstar would be foolish not to release a PC version of GTA V. The fact of the matter is, should they release one and it isn't released simultaneously with the console versions, it's not a big deal. Would you rather get it at a later date or not get it at all?
I can see it as an interesting concept, but no thank you. I've had enough of zombies to last the rest of my life. You want sandbox zombies? I recommend WarZ or DayZ, then.
In terms of quality and originality, I can name 5 right off the bat. In terms of popularity and how much revenue Activision acquires from the cash cow, I can't think of a single one.
5/25/13 is on a Saturday. Video games are released on Tuesdays in North America and on Fridays in Europe. Rumour: debunked.
"007 Legends developer forced to make significant cuts." Hopefully that means giving up the rights to the Bond games, leaving them up for grabs for a company to give it proper attention.
Excellent review. I'm glad to see almost nothing but positive things about the game and the negative things to be almost trivial. I was skeptical when FC3 was first announced (as I didn't much care for FC2) but now I'm well glad that I have a preorder down.
Well let's have a look at the previous six generations:
• First Generation: 5 years
• Second Generation: 6 years
• Third Generation: 12 years
• Fourth Generation: 11 years
• Fifth Generation: 13 years
• Sixth Generation: 6 years
If you were to do the arithmetic, the average would come out to 8 years, which sounds like a lot, but look at the third through the fifth generation; that's a whopping 11-13 year generat...
I have to agree. While I'm certainly ill-prepared for the next generation (or current if you consider the Wii U the next generation) I cannot deny that 2015 is way too long for a new console to be released. If anything, I'd hazard a guess sometime between Q2 2013 and Q2 2014.
You didn't even give a rating for or even discuss the Contracts mode.
I was reluctant on getting this because I didn't much care for Far Cry 2...but when I watched more gameplay footage, read more about it, and heard it being described as "Like Skyrim with guns," I was officially sold.
It's because Call of Duty made it as popular as it is today and make millions thanks to it, and everyone wants a slice of that pie, instead of doing something original.
While it's comforting to learn that they're listening to the gamers, I'm still up in arms about what made them decide to change something that didn't need to be in the first place.
Furthermore, I don't understand their animosity toward those applying modifiers to the PC version to alter the disguise system. They purchased the game, and PC mods have never been a problem before, so why remove the links and make it so they cannot be reposted? Maybe some peopl...
Sounds like a load of crock to me. It just doesn't add up. If anything, it's concept art from the production of Absolution.
I'm really appalled by the sheer ignorance in these comments. If anyone bothered to read the article, it clearly says Lara knows how to swim, there just won't be any swimming segments in this game. It's not a big deal and there's no need to get your knickers in a twist over it, claiming to not get the game because of it. Hey, your loss.
However, I can understand being up in arms about regenerative health. That has never appeared in a Tomb Raider game and for g...
I didn't really need to have the thought of a circle jerk in my head at 8 o'clock in the morning. On top of that, I'm not quite sure what you're on about in this blog. :-/
