Definitely didn't expect it that soon. Day one purchase for me.
Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition is off to an amazing start and even Heavy Rain is doing well so far.
I understand (and partially share) your concerns, but remember that Nintendo is involved with this project as well (which includes the co-creator of Metroid).
Poor Australia. No new information/demo of Metroid: Other M for them. Hope Galaxy 2 is at the event tomorrow as well.
Something tells me this won't be as good as Arkham Asylum...

This looks pretty bad. At least they aren't pricing it at $50, though.
Hardware sales are down overall. The Wii and DS Lite were the only systems that had an up week, and those were only minor increases.
Great scores for Heavy Rain and BioShock 2. Right now I wonder if SEGA will ever get Super Monkey Ball back on track. I personally didn't feel that Banana Blitz wasn't any good either.
These stories don't surprise me anymore.
