Have you tried Windows 7? I haven't. If sucks, I'll stick to XP. But so far everyone who tried it, had only positive things to say. I skipped Vista as well, but willing to give 7 a chance. What I'm not willing to do is buy a Mac, because I never go to coffee shops.
For the price that Apple charges you for the hardware, you should get your OS for free.
I'll be getting a new PC by the end of the year and I'd like an OS that fully takes advantage of Quad Core processor - I do a lot of HD video editing and it's critical.

Because it's a coincidence that your favorite is the MGS2 - the only one available on the MS platform? If you actually played MGS3 you wouldn't be saying this. Downplay it all you want.
MGS:R will be a good game, but it will be regarded as the worst in the series, on either platform. Let's talk a year and a half from now.

That's not it at all. I've played all the GoW games, including Chains of Olympus - this is not part of normal gameplay. Other then that, I haven't noticed anything bad about the demo. It flows smoothly when Kratos uses his normal blades, when he switches to the gloves, there's a small pause as soon as he makes contact.
I forgave them when they stopped shafting PS3 owners with crappy ports. Burnout Paradise, Madden 09, NHL 09 were enough for me.
Why don't you release the game first, patch it a few times so that it would run - then we'll see which is better.

Did anyone else notice in the demo, when Kratos uses those glove-type weapons, the action freezes for a tiny split second? Probably not a big deal, since they have another 9 months to work on it, but I'm always paranoid.
BTW, I also noticed a TON of graphical glitches in the AC2 Demo. Unlike God of War, I doubt they will all be fixed.
