You're right when it come to how he feels about the DVD playback on his own 360. His opinion is the only thing that matters. If someone did scientific research and came to the conclusion that spinach was disgusting, and you felt that spinach was delicious, why the hell would you care about the conclusion of the research? A couple of things, first of all the 360 has been out for over a year, and now someone prints a story talking about how bad the dvd playback is on the 360. I see it like this, if you didn't have a dvd player before you bought your 360, you probably don't care about dvd playback any way. Also, okay so the 360 had horrible (as he put it) dvd playback, okay noted, now, what's your point. Oh nothing you just wanted to point that out, oh okay thanks. Now get lost.

You guys should kinda just chill, although some of you points is understandable. This is just one of the things where discretion is best used for whatever reason.
I don't think religion and video games should be mixed especially when some people TALK before they think and say things that can be highly offensive to some elses religion. This is an area where we all should just take the high road.
It's no surprise that Gears dropped out of the top 10. However it is a surprise as to some of the games that are actually in the top ten. At least have of them I would have considered. The beauty of culture.
I agree you'll spend $5 worth of your time download emulators, and getting the game before you can play it on your PC. As the gentleman said earlier it'll be nicer to play on your big screen. Lastly its nice having a central location where you play your games instead of running back and forth between your console and your pc to play games. This game is a classic and for 5 bucks, the purchase is a no brainer.
Some people want multiplayer modes to enjoy their games with a friend. Single player modes are cool, but it's nice being able to hit a buddy up and play a game in multi-player coop.
I think MP co-op is 10 times more fun then single player when it's done right. Besides, I'll take as much versatility as I can get in a game, single, multi and other. Give me every bit of quality and features my 60 bucks can buy and let ME determine if I want to play multi or single.

I don't see why they couldn't have added a multi-player deathmatch, and defend type modes which really had nothing to do with the storyline. I've seen games with single player story mode and multiplayer DM. I do think it weakens the replay value of the game. Most single player games tend to fall into the play and sell or play and decay category.

The Mart has added sources for the news and data that he reported. He doesn't need proof to show that the PS3 numbers haven't gone up. If you are the one saying that it went up, then YOU should provide the source article to support that. (NOT A BLOG from JOE BLOW)
There's already source data saying that there is a 1.5 attach rate for the PS3, until something factual comes out that says otherwise, then we can only go by the previous data release that says it's at 1.5.

Last I checked, "The Mart" had the same rights as you do, freedom of speech and expression. I would have to say, that what is didn't take into consideration is that just that fan noise. Perhaps he didn't allow his test to run long enough for the systems to get warm enough for the fans to kick in. Test should have been performed after all three consoles have been running uninterupted for at least 1 hour.

I wonder what would be the result if someone put the PS3 up against the Sony Standalone player? I would have thought that that would have been done by now. If for no other reason, to see of it contains generally the same parts.

Blackmoses - the same can be said for anything, it's the option to change the faceplate that makes it a cool feature. Kinda like you have the option the change pants everyday, imagine if you have to wear those ragedy faded jeans everyday. It's not suppose to help game play, if suppose to allow for free expression, customization, etc. Football season starts, throw on the fav team plate, want to look smooth throw on the chrome, etc.....note the sarcasm.
