Does it take that long to load that one would want to load it to the hard drive? How much does it load to the hard drive. 25 Gig blu-ray disk, 60 gig hard drive, am I wrong to think that if this becomes a standard that the 60 gig drive will be consumed very quickly.

Why do one need to load to hard drive, are there know stoppage/pauses for textures to load during game play.

does it take a long time for tracks to load. Just trying to understand why a load to har...

This is not an exploit of the person, the price is clearly there. If their parents taught their A$$es patience as a child they wouldn't look like such idiots. The seller is using standard business principles, if something is rare the price goes up. "How much are you willing to pay" is truely the question.

A celebrity could pay "YOU" 1000 to wait in line for him and still save 7 grand. So I doubt it's a celebrity or anyone else. I think it was bidded up on purpose, and would up being bought by a friend and the transaction will never actually take place.

Also, what will the seller do it the good old shortage monster rears it's ugly head and he do get a PS3 as promised?

I understand your point, and it is valid to some extent. However, this is just one game. What if in a years time there's 20 games with seperate ID's. It's not a question of being lazy, it's a question of being Inconvenienced. I wouldn't want to go to the basement of my house to run my bath water because that's where the knobs for the tub is; put the knobs at the tub.

But, in sony's defense, I think I can handle some inconvience if it's not going to cost me. (some inconvience bu...

What article did you pull that quote from, I'd like to read it?

You totally miss my point, just as you always seem to do. You're right, you don't seem to hate systems or have any loyalities to a system. You appear to get more enjoyment out of blasting people for expressing their opinions. You use words like you people and constantly group people into your very own self developed stereotypes. Which is fine, you have a right to express your feelings. And with that being said, I will respect YOUR feelings and right to speak and leave you alone. Have a ...

Dantesparda to an extent I have to agree with power of green II. Even though some of the guys could be labeled as FANBOYS (Whatever the hell it really truely mean isn't relevant.) At least they have something that they feel passionate about. Whether if be Xbox360 or PS3 at least they stand for something. You on the other hand are just slamming people (perhaps to make yourself feel bigger.) Also, young people have opinions just like older people. Get past the fact that they haven't been a...

he're an idea. Set your 360 to auto shutdown if not being use. Besides, I would think that if a 360 is sitting idol for an extended amount of time that it wouldn't be has hot as it would be if you were using it. I have had my 360 for about 6 months now, and I don't have an intercool unit on it. and I have no problems with it overheating.

But, anyway, try using the auto shutoff feature.

Who cares who wins the so called Next-Gen war as long as we (the consumer) get some quality products from it. Neither Sony or M$ are paying any of my bills, so I say, keep competing, creating more innovative properties, and reducing prices. In the end, the winner of the Console war will be us!

12Volt - You are right, I think that the writer got a bit excited. But, as with any good writer, you can't sell off your credibility because you are excited about a system. What I mean by that is, because of the way he wrote it, anything the he says good about the PS3 or Bad about the 360 will be view by me as BS/Bias information. He poured it on too thick. A more charismatic writer would have been able to get those same points across without seeming like he is in the bathroom with a towe...

liquifiedart - We were doing okay until you made the statement about the middle-upper class vs the slums. I honestly beleive that Sony and Microsoft have the same target audience in mind. Although they may go about it differently. I'm not going to get into stereotype and declaring people that purchase XBOX360 as Slummers and people buying the PS3 as middle-upper class. I already have and xbox 360 and have a preorder for a PS3. I guess that would make me a "middle-upper class slum lo...

This PS3 worked out perfect for me in the fact that I was really starting to consider buying a blue-ray player for my entertainment center. WOW! Now I can get one, have the incredible features of the PS3, and pay less for it all in one foul swoop! Ohhhhh Yeah!

How does a touch sensitive button give something a sexier look. I beleive you can make a non touch sensitive button, that can look the exact same. Touch sensitive is a feel/technology NOT A LOOK.

If kinda funny, I started reading this article and the first couple of paragraphs seem okay. Then I notice that this is starting to sound like an Advertisement for the PS3. Little sneaking comments such as the term "POWER BRICK" are discreet and sneaky ways of adding negativity to the competition.
Me personally, since the power supply is going to be behind the TV, Entertainment Center, etc. I would prefer to have it be external. That makes it easier to replace without ...

Who cares what the capabilities of a machine is if no one is going to take full advantage of it capabilities. Companys going around boasting how their systems can do this and that because at some point in their research they reached that plateau.
(The Scenario)
When in all actualality the product run optimally at 720p, lets just say it runs at 1080p so that we can sell more units. We already know that the game developers will only use 720p because their the ones that wil...

I think Woolworth (I think) is a US based company. And if the Woolworth UK folks are listening to corporate email or news letters. They are probably getting US information through their information distribution chains.

Plus, Woolworth last I check wasn't really known for being up on the gaming industry.

When I preordered my PS3 last week, I also preordered a game with it and the game costed me 59.99.

So gamestop at least knows what the U.S. price of game will be. At least for this one they do.

I read a lot of off the top of the head statistics around here without any official references. Can some of you people start putting where you are finding this information about drive performance and everything else. So that we can read them from the Official source instead of quoting a bunch of 10th generation hear say.

Thanks
