You make an excellent point and I agree for the most part. All I'm saying is that in the business world, all kinds of things happen, people jumping ship, people trading sides, covert purchases, stocks being sold.
The list is endless, I'm sure Microsoft and well as Sony both have this capability. This is why their both so successful. Besides, it not a matter of..."Hey man, I asked you if you wanted to play ball yesterday and you said no; so now you can't play at all.&quo...
This is business you know, Microsoft doesn't have to develop it, a third party under Microsoft indirect supervision could create the player. There's always a way around the Bureaucratic BS.
My Regular DVD collection is way too large to abandon it for either of the HD formats. I own the PS3 and the 360 but I don't have the HDDVD Addon, I also don't own one single blu-ray movie.
The only way I will start collecting HD Movies is if the price drops to where it no longer make since to buy regular DVDs anymore, and I don't see that happening anytime soon. Besides, I really beleive streaming movies or HD PPV movies will become the next gen movie format.
I understand and agree 100%.
I have had lag on both systems, so that not true there is lag on PSN and with any online service. If you have the right connection, I guess you can say there's not lag on ANY online connection. but, generally there is. And I've had it on both services.
Also, I use both services and to be honest with you, Live is better than PSN even with PSN being free. Not being bias here, it's just a better service right now and it's definitely worth the 50 bucks. If they left PSN as is ...
I mean to be honest with you, he did just quash it right then and there and say "NO" we will not charge for our service. Which I interpret exactly as the writer, someday sony may charge for the service. I'm not saying they actually will or when they will, but he DID NOT say that they will not. He left it open, and from my understanding, it was never left open before.
Also, remember bottom line they are in it to make money.
Are you doing the same thing by coming to the rescue of blu-ray movies. He really never said something was wrong with watching them he merely said go back to watching them.
You make a good point. But I must admit, I have had my PS3 for some time now. I just don't use it (At least no very much) I'm tired of playing motorstorm (For now at least). I connected to it with my PSP, but after looking at a couple of pictures and listening to some music, that function is useless (Could have done that with my IPOD)
Another thing that annoys me about my PS3 is that it doesn't play well with formats that sony decided to block or not include. How can you ca...
Say what you want about what games are better, these things are simply opinions base on one's taste and loyalties. Here is the one single defining category where ROF become inferior to GOW......SELLS! It's just like any other competitive thing. It doesn't matter how you play the game, it who gets the best score in the critical category and when it comes to video games the critical score is SELLS.

I guess it would have been better to you sexist.
Although the Motley Fool dude has some very good point (Points others have already made.) I find it very ironic they he only felt strong enough to comment on it after HIS OWN A$$ got burned by it. With that being said, a percentage of what his is say is done so out of anger which means it is diluted and overly blown. Besides that, he does have a point. The thing that puzzles me the most is, if Microsoft says the numbers are not as high as everyone thinks they are, then why not put us all ...
"I love gears and would have loved to see it on a more stable machine."
Gears runs just fine on my 360, and it's pretty stable, so I really don't understand where that comment comes from. Maybe it's another weak attempt to take a shot at the 360. Who knows, actually who cares?
The only way to truly tell the failure rate of the 360 is by tracking them by serial numbers. And I'm sure M$ is the only entity with that information. If I send in my XBOX for repairs and get a refurb unit back and two months later, the refurb breaks, I really could only say I had one xbox break on me. Since the refurb was already counted as a broken unit. Now consider this on a large scale and you can see how the numbers can get skewed pretty quickly.
Unless the research ...

I beleive Jebissaveme stole him from your barn is rode it up to N4G. Because he wanted some post points.
I had the same version that you had with the typo, the problem with that verison was that it didn't have xbox live and there weren't any other cars on the track. So I stopped playing it. :)
Icewake, the is plain and simple jealousy. Let me guess, you are pissed because sony didn't come up with the idea. Some people aren't happy unless the FLAMES are burning bright. Why do you feel so threatened by the 360? Hears a reality check, all of these devices are here for us all to enjoy; the PS3, the 360, the Wii, etc. STOP HATIN' and go mow you parents lawn or something.
You really DON'T have to pay to watch the real world, just pay for cable TV instead and watch it when it comes on MTV. You talks as if "The Real World" is free. Last time I checked, It came on satellite or cable tv. Unless of course you download it off the internet, (For which there is also a charge) or you live a such a great city that they provide free cable service. Or is this just another cost that people take for granted.
Com'n man,
You would be more believable had you not combined all others consoles as being inferior to the PS3. Even if it is a superior product (which I'm not convinced of yet) It sure isn't any fun right now outside of motorstorm and RFOM. I've had mine since two months after launch and I only have Motorstorm and a bunch of demos that I am tired of. The reason for that is because I don't care that much about RFOM and everything else on it (That I would play) I already have...
