This is EXACTLY what downloadable content is for, especially for people with the Elite systems with 120g of HD space. It's not like they not going to release all kinds of crap in xbox live marketplace for PGR4 anyway.

Why would someone trying to appeal to the general public to make a good impression and increase sells release a demo this late in the game that has known bugs in it. To me that doesn't make sense.
If that's truly the case, the devs are being very lazy. If I'm going to delay something, and keep it out of the public eye, you best believe that when I do release it, it's gonna be on point.
EDIT: And that includes the demo. (I may just rent this one first.)
I don't think anything said in the review was offbase, although I also felt that the game was beautiful. Although, my TV don't support 720p, I thought the clarity could have been a bit better. Someone please tell me that this is not going to be another one of those stupid 720p only decisions. I hope not, cause I really want this game.

Jeez, just reading the intro to this article was strange, this story has a Sony fanboy / anti-microsoft seniment to it from the start. Nintendo has the right idea, people say the wii is for kids and in most cases they are right. The PS3 and 360 are generally owned by individual gamers from 15 to 50, where as the wii is generally owned by families. (with two or more kids.) I agree, I would definitely rather have solid performance from my hardware. BUT, all hardware breaks even the good stuff, it just happens. And when it does, if it's not backed by a solid warranty, it's gonna cost you big bucks to get it fixed or replaced. Good warranties give consumers piece of mind, which is in my mind a requirement when dealing with electronics.
If I was in the store looking for an xbox360 or a PS3 and really wasn't leaning toward either of them. The 3 year warranty would tip the scales quickly and decisively. Most savvy consumers WILL go with the warranty as a major plus. I think panasonic makes better plasma screen tv than samsung, however if the samsung can with two more years warranty and the features were pretty close on each, samsung it is solely base on the warranty.
I agree, although since the drums would be in addition to what you get with GH2 along with the mic. The prices between the two are actually pretty competitive. 200 - 110 for the Mic and Drums, leaves 90 bucks for the game and 1 guitar. So, I see your point in 200 bucks being a lot of money, however the price makes perfectly good sense to me.

I have never to this day seen an xbox360 either sitting vertical or horizontal. Scratch a disk without some dingbat, either moving the console while it was spinning or impacting/bumping the console while it was in use.
I do understand that there should be the proper bumpers installed, but you guys don't give the users enough credit for not properly taking care of their stuff.
Bladestar, you hit the nail right on the head. I can't believe that some people still haven't gotten over this. How can you want a game one minute and then not want it anymore because it's being released on another console also. I honestly believe that nintendo is purposely holding back on hardware shipments to keep the market demand high. What the hell is taking so long to get these things out. The frickin' accessories are all over the place, but the consoles are not.

This video does nothing to prove much at all. But based on only the video shown, I would choose gears over UT3 simply because of how it was presented. Gears was in story mode (which IMO is always more interesting) while UT3 was in what appeared to be Deathmatch. (I'm don't think UT3 has a single player or story mode does it?)

360 - Well Done steak, problem is sometimes it too well done (overheating) But, when it's cooked just right, nothing can beat it!

I understand where you're coming from, but I feel that demos are out there as a sample of the FINAL product. When you get a sample of ice cream at a parlor, you expect the same taste from the pint that you buy. I feel that Betas are there for feedback and to catch bugs. I really didn't notice any bugs myself, but If the devs said the there were bugs and that they are already fixed in the full version, why not fix it in the demo also, my god it only lasted 5 minutes.
