Hmmm, I would think the PUBLISHER would have a lot of pull as to where a game that they are publishing is going to be released. These kinds of deals are made with the developers long before the game is ready to be released.
If the developers of COD4 and GH3 allow this, there will be some business reprecussions to be handed out. And if they are big enough to absorb that, then so be it.

The store/chain should be soley responsible for breaking the street date. If halo was on sale today, I would buy it. Especially since everytime you go out to buy a great game, if you didn't pre-order it they are usually out because they only received enough for pre-orders (Gamestop).

I think it is a bit harsh to ban the live account. You paid 60 bucks like everyone else. Instead of jumping on the consumer, MS should be putting their foot in the A$$ of the jerk merchants that are selling it early.

Some of those ps2s are owned by the same person. I.E. replacements, and multiple units. But still, the PS2 number are still huge. But, there isn't 110 million ps2 owners.

Okay, here is the deal I am cool, I'm a trend setter, people copy what I do because I'm sooooo cool (have to wear gloves when I drink water do prevent it from freezing before I can drink it.) I own an XBOX 360 which makes it frickin' cool. I also own a PS3, so yup you guessed it, it's cool too.
So, go out and get both of these consoles, and you will be cool too. I don't own a wii yet (Notice I said yet) because it's just not cool enough for me yet.

It's kinda weird, I normally don't get too hyped over a game, but I am starting to get pretty hyped on Halo3. Can't wait to see some of the feature that was written about in this article. 10 - 12 hours isn't that bad, although it would be nice if it were longer. From what I hear Heavenly Sword is 6-7 hours, now that's short. I may just rent that one and beat it over a weekend. Especially since it has no multiplayer.

No sir, I am NOT talking about 1080p. Whenever I try and play resistance or Motorstorm, my PS3 just sits there and does nothing. I actually have to reboot it inorder to get my ps3 to work again I have to hold down the power switch to force a shutdown.
