some great ideas. i believe you will be able to from a party with other players. i may be wrong on that.
i think there is no doubt they would make their money on this if they do bring it to consoles.
if they do then us 360 and PS3 guys/girls can sing happy songs together.

xbox 733mhz, game cube 400 something mhz, and PS2 193mhz.
actually the game cube came in as the 2nd most powerful of last gen...you hit the nail on the head about the games though and the kiddie appeal.
note: those might not be the exact numbers but real close. i know xbox was in the 7oo's, game cube 400's, and ps2 170 or above (almost sure 193)
they just don't like shooters. they like RPG's above all else.
yeah, i think it is a difference in Entertainment choices of what we like vs what they like. not so much a car or clothing issue(or other products)
they are going to make what they know to who they know.
it is like another world...one world consist of Eurpean and U.S., the other Asian.

this is a topic that affects all gamers. we may go back and forth about our consoles but we are all brothers and sisters when it comes to this.
EA has VERY closed ears and pays no attention to us though.
they have stratically destroyed alot of our gaming experiences.
the only way to open their ears is to quit buying their products...but we are all not unified or have enough motivation to pull a boycott. o well
here is how motivated...
i have grown up with star trek always being on TV in some form. i can't wait for this. it just looks fun. multiplayer will be a blast. plus with the makers of Oblivion behind it...how can you go wrong.

you get what you can and have to put some off some for later. the question is, which ones do you buy first.

online play was what last gen was about too. but your right it is a most for this gen.
everyone has to admit that M$ pioneered the standard for consoles to be online and a hard drive. so they helped us all out on those issues not matter which of the 3 consoles you play.
what?! xbox live was already up from the original xbox.
also there was several showings of what live was going to be like for the 360 (before launch). they showed us the blades, the future addition of a camera (well before eye toy was even announced), how friends list would work, the ability to talk to your friends cross game, and so on and so on.
anyway, yes M$ did.
of course it will affect games.
man, that total is large and growing. good thing for PS3 guys this is coming to light before they launch the PS3. that way the PS3 may avoid this fate as well.
yeah, i agree. i think that it was just a chance to hype the game from there stand point.
they knew that it would not hurt M$ or Sony's feelings by saying that. because when they do port it, M$ and Sony get to say, "Look are machines are so powerful that they can run Crysis when they said it could not be done".
then Crytek can flex their muscles and say we did the impossible by making the game work on the consoles.
