i agree to a point that fanboys get overly upset but i prefer my console of choice (ps3) to be "wining" or to have sold alot more then the competion, then xbox wouldnt have been able to poach as many exclusives and FFXIII might have actually been good. when you spend that amount of money you want whatever you choose to have the best games on it.

i still dont no why sony are public enemy no1 wen it comes to the media. when i heard about this i was pissed for 20 secs from a moral point of view i paid for it they cant take it away and not give us anything good in the update, but then realised even tho i alwasy thought of installing linux for emus i never did so no loss

why the trolling
if the tv can do 120 refresh rate and has a port for ir input you can buy a kit to turn it to 3d for about £100
alot of old (non brand new) tvs can do 3d but it was just not marketed like most dlp tvs or 120s with the input ports but obviously it will be better to buy one of the new ones, i personaly am going for a 22inch pc monitor as alot cheaper and if i find it reaaly impressive will go for tv if ALL games start to suppourt 3d

3d will be huge in the next few years its the next evolution of home tv they will push it hard to normal consumers (not us forum types lol)

o and on a side note if you do get the YLOD in the uk even tho its out of warrenty consumer law says the store you got said device from is liable for device for around 6 years if you can prove it has a manufacturing defect, which if you get the ylod and you take it to a qualified VAT reistered engineer he will mostly concurr that it is caused by an inherent manufacturing fault by poor quality thermal paste application and soldering voids you take this report to the store who then plays dumb...
my launch 60gig had blueray fail after 3months, replacment lasted a year got blueray fail again, 3rd replacement still fine. my brothers launch 60gig ylod after 2.5 years my mates after 2, and 2 people rang an add i put in paper to fix them,
anyway it more frequent then the sonyfanboys would have you belive but alot less then what 360 fanboys would have you belive. But sony have never argued ect and had next day swaps.
