at a dev thing last week or so the general feeling is that glassless 3d sets wont be avaliable to public until 2015.
and its worth nothing currently active shutter gives the best quality of the 3 options
yep i remeber a sony person saying basically the same thing that it only requires a bit more power. and on the graphical front i dont think we have anythong to worry about

and this is where square are shooting thenmselves in the foot i love jrpgs but they see the numbers on games like call of duty and think if they westernize there rpgs they will do the same. there logic fails hard

Its probably already being gimped so they dont have as much work to do when M$ give a big enough cheque. in all seriousness tho i hope its awsome in one interview he made it sound like they were doing a proper world map not seen since ps1 days but it looked odd so were trying to figure what to do, but it seems like they are keeping it a proper ff game not that westernized crap of xiii
exactly right plus he is playing modern warfare 2 with polarized glasses so it definatly an add for ps3 3d (4.00 firmware perhaps) the actual story in this vid is modern warfare possibly getting a 3D patch.

it is an ad for ps3 3d the add clearly shows MODERN WARFRE 2 which i assume is not on ps4 as other have said its for the 4.00 3D firmware jap adds our just different from ours and i think the ps4 bit has been added in
i can understand the pass from there point of view but i completly agree with you, i certainly wont be getting it and what does this mean for hiring games?

EDIT on fully reading the article it seems its not actually a full 3D screen it says its to bridge the gap between 2D and 3D with depth enhancing tec.
3d will only ever be an option i cant see any 3d only games untill 3d sets are the norm 2020 perhaps
