I'm sorry Eurogamers, I just don't see a 8 in it, more like a 6-7. I've gotten to level 20 in my playtime before I traded in the game and it just seemed like a grind not a pleasure. Not once did I feel epic in the game; I don't feel like I am embracing my destiny, I feel like I am an easily replaceable cog in a technically competent but soulless universe.

After all these bad to below avg reviews..It is pretty much confirmed that Destiny is the new Too Human or Lair of this generation. Another spot on review to highlights its flaws and shortcomings.
That is why MS bought Minecraft. That game literally brings in women and casual and it has been on the top or near the very top of the UK chart month after month since its debute on x360.

On a serious note...this IP is much more than just for the xbox. It is for mobile..PC..surfaces as well. People really need to stop and keep saying they could have made 10 games with that money but failed to understand that the Minecraft IP is way bigger than just a typical AAA game on a console.

Bingo! Activision did say it is the highest pre-order new IP in history and the reviews were held back so people didn't get a chance to cancel it before knowing what product they are going to get. I sense a big dropoff in the second week with tons of used copies in Gaming stores aka probably morso than Watchdogs.
I did....traded in my copy to Gamestop 2 days ago. It is just an avg game at best with too much repetitive gameplay and a very shallow and bland story and Universe.

I never claim Madden on xb1 outsold the PS4 verrsion even with the bundle. I am just saying it is 100,000 behind the ps4 version just on retail copies. Ps4 has more users at this point so it is expected almost all third party ports will sell more on the Sony console at this point.
The article did also mentioned that the Madden bundle helped xb1 to outsell the ps4 hardware for the week though.
Maybe not Daikatana or Haze bad but I say it is just an avg game and many were expecting many high 8s and 9s for the pedigree that Bungie usually brings. That is what is so disappointed about it as many, including myself, were dead set that it will be sure one of the highest rated and best games of the year. Imagine if Naugty Dog were to released a non-inspired TLOU and it scores in the 6-7s, N4g will be in a riot.
The xb1 bundle digital copies are not counted though. Not a surprise as the ps4 has a larger user base but a 100,000 difference is pretty much what was expected on the software front and it actually did great across all platforms.
Bungie has redeemed themselves this month by at least giving us a great game. I still didn't understand why they proclaimed that each planet/moon in Destiny is as big as Reach as you can only drop off at certian spots in a planet itself. Reach is a great game and is a great way to introduce new players in the Halo universe and get them ready for MCC.

I heard that if you decide to buy the full game over PSN digitally, you have to maintain your PSN+ subscription in order to play the full game. Is that still true or has Sony change it now?
Please...I bought the game for my XB1 on launch day and why would I want it it failed after spending my hard earned $60 for it? Me and many others feel like we didn't get the game that we were led to believe and it maybe it just isn't any good. Not just gameinasia but reputable sites like Gamespot, EGM, Giant Bomb and many others also said the same thing.
