About time Blaster Master makes the VC! I loved that game growing up...
The water effects in this game are to die for...
Monkey Island was an excellent series for episodic content.
Now I wish Valve could hit timelines like this :(
I remember seeing Larrabee at SIGGRAPH 08, and despite no release date at that time, they told us that it would be 'soon'.
This hurts Intel, finish the darn thing :(
True that it's keeping AMD is a good position, but if these products own face whenever they're actually released, AMD will be the one playing catchup...
Oh EA, how do you do it.
I keep hearing everyone say that this game IS Diablo. That couldn't make me more happier. Can't wait to try it out.
EA, you piss me off so much. You are the cancer killing the gaming industry.
Pandemic deserves better than this.
I recently upgraded from my GeForce 8800GTX to a Radeon HD 5770. It's a good time to upgrade, even if the GeForce 8 series cards are still capable.
You've got a good idea in waiting a little more though. I think it's a good idea to see what NVIDIA releases with Fermi, and then decide what to buy. The competition should drive prices down as well.
Simple - because a console cannot achieve DirectX 11 level visuals. PC gaming is always leaps and bounds ahead of consoles in terms of technology and graphics. Enthusiasts who want to best will go PC every time.
And as many other have stated, this is an ultra high-end enthusiast part. Few people will need something this powerful to game on.
Ouch, $600 :( Right on target with what we expected though. This chip has got to be blazing fast.
I wonder what kind of heat that thing will put out. With the reduced TDP, it's probably under control, and the 5XXX series doesn't seem to be much of an oven in itself.
My favorite part of this is the chiptunes L4D music.
Bulldozer certainly looks interesting. A potential 8 core bulldozer chip would essentially mean a 16 core chip, all working concurrently.
I had no clue that a Nintendo World Store even existed. Want to go SO BAD.
There is nothing cool in Indiana :(
The addition of the full Sgt Pepper's album was obligatory. Good move.
UNF
Do want.
I can't wait to see what Fermi can do. Until it shows it's face, ATI is just running away with it with some awesome hardware.
Can't wait to see how product improves once they get competition.
I can seriously think of fewer more awkward feeling things than when I put my graphics card into the oven. It was tense, odd, and concerning.
Be prepared for the smell though. Remember when you tried to make creepy crawlers as a kid but burned them? very similar...
I too, was the same.
But once you get a taste of OC, you can't get enough.
You begin to see what your hardware is truly capable of, and it become infectious. GPUs today are especially capable of high level OCing.
But, of course, it's all fun and games until you burn your GPU out...
Love the art style, not sure if I buy into the premise...
Pandemic's Eulogy. At least they went out with a good title.
Now expect EA to ram it to the ground with a sequel.
