If you are indeed a real gamer tell me where do you find time with work and the real world? Do you just play titles through once? How many games do you own? How many have you played to 100 percent? Gaming and being a "real gamer" isn't about cash. I got the cash to fund my hobby but as an adult time is a luxury.

You may be in IT but no IT professional ever got to make these decisions on their own at least not where the allocation of money for such an update is concerned. Pure and simple truth is most will not update for a while for 2 or 3 obvious reasons.
Sure alot has to do with the economy but there is this simple truth. There isn't an IT department in the world, worth their salt, that would update until the first service pack was released.
