LOLOLOL at Sak500, what are you 12? Grown people don't talk like this.
"You guys have Teh Lineup excuse now after Teh MGS4 and Teh Killzone2"
"As i said above if 360 drops dead in sales it will take a year and a half for ps3 to reach anywhere above 360 sales."
So really the 360 can keep selling and all Sony has to do is outsell it by a 2 to 1 ratio and in 1 and a half years 360 is in third. Not that any of this matters to real gamer...
I guess this subject never gets old.
I have to say that I have supported Sony consoles since the PS1 and I didn't do it because they sold the most systems.
Looking at all the games coming this year and next I could care less where they finish. Continue to be competitive with multiplates and deliver great exclusives I will be gaming on a Sony system until they aren't in the game anymore.
EDIT: @Above
I agree with all of that except f...
Real simple answer. If Sony turns a profit then yes. Stick to discussing games.
"By the time it actually does, would it matter?"
LMFAO it doesn't matter now buddy. All 3 consoles have sold enough to secure their future. If you were a gamer you would know at this point it's just a pissing contest and the winners and losers will be determined by the software.
"Nope sales sales sales bla bla bla 360 2nd place bla bla."
EDIT: If patchers saying this phuckin PS3 owners are doomed!!!!!!!!! jk
I hope it splits and they let purists play online with the moties. You all know who would get spanked.
No No and NO. Sorry bud, but that was your opinion, and this is mine. No way in hell swinging your foot or moving your arm is innovation. This goes to show how easily you guys are distracted by bells and wistles.
So with Natal I kick my foot and I hit an imaginary ball and it reacts to my movement? Sounds like good ol anolog reality to me. If this is "innovation" then it lacks substance. As a gamer I have been waiting decades for the evolution of gaming and I don't ca...
I might pick them up for sh*ts and giggles you know a conversation piece. Motion controls are not the future of gaming.
I'm not a 60gig owner but I have friends who are and everyone of them has had to get theirs replaced. You better hope nothing happens to it because they will put you on a waiting list indefinitely or you can opt for the free "upgrade" to a PS3 without an emotion engine in it.
It is completely up to the gamer weather trophies ruin the game. I have talked with other gamers about this subject as we all race to get the next titles trophies. I had a couple trophies make me hate a game but no more than I hate any hard game when it is testing my patience.
I play my new games for fun the first time. I don't worry about the trophies until I have enjoyed the full experience. Then I move on to the trophies. There is no harm in putting it down for another title...
Someone needs to talk to them about condoms. 10 Babies WTF!?!
For MS Halo is like a money tree. Why would you chop down the tree? No, they will take as many seeds as they can from this thing and hope they get a new money tree out of it. It's smart business and nothing new.
If and when the hardcore fans get fed up they might change it.
Thank you, I didn't look at the date but I knew I had read this before.
This seems old. I know I have heard him answer these same questions before E3 and he gave the same answers.
EDIT: Yep its old, I should have checked the date but I thought to myself no way they submitted an article that old.
Agreed
LOL you guys go easy on La Chance. He, like many others, has been tricked into thinking that sales are the most important thing to consider as a gamer. He is also being led to believe that new fresh IPs are a bad thing?
It's no secret that consumers are mindless and seem to believe what ever you tell them.
New games bad, sequels to old games good, brainwashed consumer check.........now watch the money roll in without having to spend the effort creating something new...
Bubbles to both of you. Lets stop the madness.
PT is that av Aleister Crowley?
EDIT: ty I don't know why I thought that Crowley.
"And yet, you don't understand that a 'good game' is subjective to the person. So why would you NOT want 400+ games compared to 200+ games? I mean that's pretty much just deprivation."
I completely understand that and if you had reading comprehension you could see I think it's all a matter of opinion. That being said why would you want to wade through 300 average/ mediocre titles to get to the 100 good ones? You may like spending your cash that way but I do not. Once ...
I agree? Yep I agree.
Here is a quick explination for you because you don't get the math.
These are made up numbers:
If the 360 offers 400 games but only 20% get good scores you are left with 80 good titles.
If the PS3 offers 200 games but 40% get good scores you are left with 80 good titles.
To some it would seem looking at these numbers they are offering the same quality on both services. That is just not the case. The ratio of games released to games t...
Thank god, PSN has enough little kids already.
