How about the fact that everyone I know personally who bought a 360 has had it replaced. I am sure there are more than a few with their first 360 still running but I don't like the odds.

I personally think FPS have oversaturated gaming. Most of the greatest gaming expierences I have ever had were with games that were not FPS. The little kids around here don't play anything but FPS it seems.
Of course sales are important to games. I would agrgue that they should not be so important to gamers (who don't have stock like iceman).

I think the FPS genre is declining. MW2 will give it a boost and so would anothe episode of HL but I think the genre is getting stale.
