I love side scrollers like Einhander but that game seriously broke me. I played and played and I never had a chance.
Well IMO you didn't miss anything after SH3. Silent Hill was one of my favorite PS1 games and 2 and 3 were better than great. Since 3 the series has been 1 letdown after another. I have high hopes as always.
EDIT 4 was decent but not as great as the other 3.
Would be nice as an option but damn that would be a big download the beta alone was 15 gigs.

I love it when they pretend that Crysis was a great game. Looked great but like everyone has said that was about it. Hell if it weren't for the mod community on PC it would have been dead long ago.

Uncharted 2 is a 3rd person shooter with climbing and a cover system.
Halo is a shooter with lots of community features.
GT5 is a driving game with lots of cars....
I haven't finished AC yet. My initial impressions don't really fall in line with this. I have only finished the first couple of sequences and it seems like the same old AC with a couple of new RPG type dynamics.
Just my opinion. Really good game though.

Built here or not the engineering is what counts and in most good vehicles it is not US.
Hell you can add a 30% mark up on products that say German Engineered.

Some people are not blinded but impressed with the game. Plenty of fans of the GT series admit GT5 could be better. Your arguement suggests that to have a high opinion of GT5 you must be a blind fankid.
If that is indeed the point you are trying to make than I have to say that I think it is ignorant and closed minded. I have played most of the "racing" games to come out this gen. IMO GT5 stands above the rest when looking at the game...
