That is not what HHG said. The point to releasing a new handheld would be to make money and grab market share.

Remenber $$$$$ it's the reason the DSlite, 3DS, Move, Kinect, PSP, PS3 etc were made. If they were sure they could do it they would.

Man you keep trying to draw comparisons to the iPhone but what they did to the PS3 was not the same thing.

Well I think it should be the same as the 3DS. Sure it is more powerful and has more features but from what I have read the screen on the 3DS isn't too cheap. That alone might offset it but probably not. I think more than 300$ is crazy.

Hopefullu Sony takes note of the fact that this generation would have gone even better for them had the PS3 not had that sticker shock.

There always has to be one. The thing hasn't even released it is the first showing and already this guy knows that all the games will be nothing more than downgraded ports of old PS3 games.

If this is a huge issue for you the 3DS might not be the right choice for you.
