I have the game and I have played GT5 GT4 and GT3 to call the standard cars PS2 quality says one of two things to me.
1. You like to exaggerate.
2. You have forgotten what PS2 visuals look like.

Level doesn't matter but skill does. Serious racers are setting up their lounge with assits off, penatlies high, and dammage on high. You hit a wall in a lounge like that and your race is over.

True but snipers in BFBC2 are so easy to kill. All that time looking downfield in their fav camp spots means you can creep up and knife 2 or 3 who are not paying attention.

The second of your comments is why I think it is stupid to play the sales game if you are into gaming. You can spin this stuff so many ways it seems to take focus off of what is important to gamers. Quality games and game systems. If you like something and it is selling well I'm not saying you can't think that is a good thing but why focus so much on it?

You would not believe how many COD players where blown away by KZ2. I heard many remarks about how great the gamplay was compared to COD while I was playing it. KZ2's problem was lack of variety and the leveling system was not what it could have been but boring gamplay? Naw, not in my opinion.
