Good, took the high road. Classy
CC info is only truly secure if you never give it out. Giving CC info out anywhere is a roll of the dice. Anyone who thinks otherwise is naive.
@Poo
Loving your PS3 to the point of obsession and sticking by Sony is one thing, but being blind is just silly.
Your comment is whats silly. He offered an opinion and you accuse him of being blind? Someone sounds judgemental and childish.
@jj
Its PS+ not PSN+
You still have the stuff you pay for with PS+.. PS+ doesnt guarantee you PSN, but I think you know that.
Here is a fact. You can do more with Linux on a PC. It was Yellow Dog for christ sake. If you cant get that running on something else you got no credibility. I'm tired of that lame duck excuse. You bought a PS3 for Linux? One born every minute.
Yep cmon people use your brain Anon arent hackers their script kiddies
Anonymous didn't do this. They just saw a way to get more attention. It's a joke, like them.
Come on DDoS, data mining/ social engineering and prank calls is all Anon ever had.
He agreed to an injunction. The end
Sony just drops the lawsuit against him.
Geo said he wouldn't settle without other OS or compensation for removing it.
He settles without getting anything he wanted and he is the winner?
GeoHot fanboys are deluded.
@Rio
He did it for attention. Why else release it like he did?
Sony got exactly what they wanted. Anyone thinking different is wrong. People who expected this to set a precedent may think no one won but believe for Sony this is a victory.
Comments like this are lacking coherent thought
"The ps3 fanboys here at n4g were settling for no less than seeing him in prison. He gets off with a slap on the wrist and that my friend is golden."
He was never facing jail time smart guy.
I hear you but if they are all bad then why position others in a better light? Bill Gates gets tax breaks for giving to charity. If his accountants aren't telling him to do so they're stupid. I like Sony because I like their products. I pay money for what I get from them and the relationship is no more complicated than that..
@Oner
Thank you. Your comment is perfect.
Fail
Learn to read. He was never looking at jail time. Big win for Sony if he ever gets caught hacking a Sony device and he might be slapped w criminal charges and no real defence. He signed his so called rights away buddy.
Man that's dumb. You think he got money? Dude got lucky it wasn't worse. No $$$ Sony won.
Red Dragon is right. Who produces the code the devices etc..? Not hackers they only manipulate another persons hard work. Sony is a large corporation but what about the small time guy in his basment working on a piece of software or an application that he has created? Shouldn't this person have his work protected? What about these large corp? Without them who would fund the intelligent minds of creators?
Your logic has flaws. In a perfect world everything would be free...
"And in light of that the USA policy on the middle east sort of makes sense to me, because it is easier to defend the US by sending troops over there, than it is to keep them here".
No
My mind erased the question mark.
*starts slow clap*
^^I was gonna type something like that but you beat me to it. I will say anything done to excess can be harmful.
Like a joke with no punchline. Gonna go skype some PSN buddies.....at least Netflix still works.
