This appears to be an extremely earlier build for demo use. I've seen this before. There is only a short time to polish the game but it could already be in the works even prior to this showing as the optimize across the board. Those issues could easily be fixed. Going to wait until release date to see what is available at launch.
Yeah I would say this build is likely (hopefully) behind the dev occuring in the console. First gen cross console games seem to have this type of roll out and showing. And at the very least it wasn't a CGI trailer and they provided us with actual gameplay. I can see alot of tweaks being applied all the way up to launch date and probably on launch as well as after. Optimizations should continue on Series X and PC for the foreseeable future.
Even though the art direction Halo has chosen is fine, I would like to see more modern graphical fidelity; lighting, shadows, ambient occlusion, raytraying and more to round out the look. I'm wondering how much of what we saw can run on the base systems.
Maybe they are focusing on their base until the new titles begin to roll out. Ton of other non Trifecta titles (Halo, Forza, Gear) that looked interesting. Everwild has my interest peaked.
About the show. I was not impressed with what Sony offered in their last line up at all. Im more interested in the EPIC engine being built for both systems. Everything else was meh.
Nah, just your biased opinion. Fans will enjoy while haters are salty.
Motorsport is going to be such a good racing sim and it looks incredible. If past experience is anything to go buy it'll be the best out yet again.
Wouldn't need to next-gen? Wtf does that even mean. Probably...? We don't know but maybe possibly? Who posted this garbage. Wait a second, didn't Sony cult claim it was necessary to move to next-gen? What a bunch of idiots now claiming it's bad Microsoft has next gen games...
Actually the other 39k plus and 60k plus think you are delusional. Check the linked video..lol. or are you just spamming the Xbox threads without anyone here banning Sony trolls...
These guys couldn't see the difference on an 8K 82" QLED. Ratchet and clank lmao, this goes to show these boys are here for the tweet.
Only from those who already came in disappointed, aka the delusionals.
Lol, talk about the pot calling the kettle black. Even Digital Foundry has already spoken about Halos engine being much improved. Funny how PC ends up supporting multiple gens and still looks the best all while trashing Sony's console. There goes your argument! Bye Felicia!
It is the art style. Many fans were asking for a return to roots, but with a much improved engine for better shading, lighting, and effects running at high frame rates for console. Here take a look at the this gameplay.

Game does look pretty good.
No, you are probably not able to see they use very similar shading and lighting tech, but Uncharted can only run at a low frame rate and have clunky movement and abysmal action vs a game running 60 fps+ with extremely satisfying gun play.
Hmm, you only watched 4 games out of the 19? Well...I can say I'm interested in the other titles you have left out. People must be blind when watching Xbox videos.
Most if not all of the those devs were paid off, take it for what you will.
Yes, it just needs the "y".
It looks like an Xbox controller with power armor strapped on. I dig and reminds me of Macross ships.
Seems to be the genre for inspiration on the design for their next gen console. I would buy the PS5 in a heart beat if it looked like a miniature mech.
@morganfell they technically have all the way up until launch. Same as previous gen games which came with a day one patch. Hell, both consoles will have day one patches or shortly after to address issues. This unfortunate trend is to get the product into the hands of consumers, then fix they remaining issues.
