it is. the controls have returned to a simpler format(like HCTP) and universe mode is pretty cool.
he's right. it could have been way better than it was. it's like they focused everything on sex jokes and DLC plans. hell, you even have to pay for some of the cheats which were free in SR2 btw.

R* doesn't need anything from SR. True, it does need to loosen up some but not to Saints row levels. I say the seriousness needs to be the same tone as vice city. it wasn't too serious but it wasn't too silly either.

honestly, it fails to surpass SR2 imo. first of all, the customization is watered down compared to the second one. In the second one, you could layer clothing which doesn't exist in saints row 3 nor does design patterns and there was alot of clothing items to choose from in the second one but not so much in the third. I can't even make a decent tommy vercetti.
secondly, instead of having activities available from the start they are unlocked by doing the storyline whic...
it starts off slowly though(besides the first three missions I mean) but it gets better with the other two acts.
think of it this way, if bioware does change the script then those nasty few won't/can't ruin the story for others so it would be a blessing in disguise!
