Yes, that is the one game I'm most interested in seeing more of.
It's not THAT hard to get exotics.
I haven't played since about a month after Taken King, and I never played "thousands" of hours, but if the game allowed it I could wear an exotic in every slot.
Just running strikes and using the three of coins will get you more exotics than you know what to do with. I dismantled lots of them that were duplicates or were something I don't care for.

yetter, the minecraft comparisons are because of the fact that it is open-ended and there is no real story or missions driving you along a set path.
Yes, you have an end goal of getting to the center of the galaxy, but there is no mission structure to determine how you go about getting there, or even IF you try to get there at all.

I think it's a niche product with very limited practical usage in games.
I think the die hards are going to gobble it up at launch, realize that most of the games aren't that good, or that using it is a pain the butt, and we are going to see ebay flooded with used headsets.
