I know I'm probably going to get a ton of disagrees for this, but I REALLY thought Bastion was totally mediocre.
Other than the neat idea they had with the Narrator, I just didn't see anything that was remotely special about it.
I've just never quite "got" why it is such a favorite of so many people.
Agreed.
That guy is a total badass.
Anyone who watched the first season of Game of Thrones would understand why we say that.
Yeah Saints Row has really gone downhill.
:(
And they aren't going away.
You know why?
BECAUSE PEOPLE SPEND MONEY ON THEM.
We can all complain until we are blue in the face, but it isn't going to accomplish anything. Just like any other business, the game devs are trying to make money, and if these types of things weren't making them money, they would stop.
I know I remember seeing an awful lot of purchased weapon skins running around in Gears 3. People ...
I just wish they would move that left joystick to the upper position.
That's all I want, is that too much to ask?
:(
@Eyeco, No, I didn't see anything special about any of that stuff.
I thought it was one of the most bland, boring, and generic shooters I ever played.
It was one of VERY few games I actually left unfinished because it was awful.
Don't they put the firmware updates on newer games?
I know nintendo did that with the Wii. You would try to play a new game and it would force an update on you first.
And Microsoft did it with the 360 with at least one of their updates, when they modified the disc format a little to make more space on the disc usable.
I have to admit I never saw what was so special about Half Life.
My vote would go for Mass Effect if they didn't completely botch the third one, but since they did...
Probably Xenosaga or God of War.
T3MPL3TON, you are a fantastic example of everything that is wrong with the world right now.
You think you deserve something for nothing, and that everything should be designed to suit your needs.
And when it isn't, you'll just steal it. Why? Because you're entitled to have that game for less money than it is worth... Screw what the market says and screw the value of the dollar and screw all the people that worked to make that product. You'r...
I'm sure GTA 5 will be great, but I'm far more interested in Watch Dogs.
I just tend to have more fun with these types of games when they are a little more "Sci Fi" than reality.
lol, what?
I'm not sure that they are "dumb", necessarily.
I would vote something more along the lines of "insane".
Batshit Crazy would probably describe them most accurately.
This made me laugh.
"When previously we read the word “all” in the first statement, we took it to mean “all”. Today’s revisit to the topic has made us recognise the error. We should have instead ignored the word entirely."
Punctuation.
It's fun, you should try it sometime.
I think your memory is failing you. lol
All AC games have had loading screens.
Skyrim loads every time you enter or exit somebody's house, for god's sake.
A couple of the others you mentioned aren't fresh enough in my mind to say for sure either way.
I wish there was some way that N4G could force you to read an article before you lets you post a comment.
Anyone else think it's weird that they put in ClapTrap but left out Roland?
Anyone besides me think that the Second Son trailer looked more like a sequel to Prototype than inFAMOUS?
Don't get me wrong, that isn't a negative, I love both series of games.
It's just that the whole Red and Black look that he had going on with his powers really looked like Prototype to me.
Dual stick controls or not, the buttons get used a LOT more than the D-Pad does. Especially on anything other than FPS games...
Most other games you only use that stick to flip the camera around, and that's it.
Is this real or an April Fools Day joke?
I REALLY hope this isn't real, because it sounds awful.
