"You're"
If you are going to tell somebody their opinion is "wrong", at least use proper grammar.
I can only speak for myself, but please don't lump all the complainers in to one group saying that they are disgruntled Xbox fans.
I have owned every playstation, and every Xbox, but I would definitely call myself an Xbox fan first. They have been my primary system since they came out.
I loved Halo, so naturally I loved Bungie.
I'm not angry with them in any way for going multiplat, or for cutting a deal with Sony. They don't ow...
Your avatar picture is freaking me out, dude.
O_O
I think it is a type of flat bread? Wait, that's Pita.
Um, it's a Volkswagen car? No... That's a Jetta.
A type of cheese? No... That's Feta.
I dunno, I'm at a loss.
The worst part of it is that now it's already become the norm that every single game dev has to announce their resolution and frame rate before the game comes out.
If it made such a huge difference we wouldn't need them to tell us, would we?
I don't understand why, but in these comparisons, the PS4 screens always look washed out.
I own both consoles and will continue to buy every multiplat on Xbox because the controller and my friends list is more important to me than graphical differences.
Especially now when I can't even see the difference.
And I played the PS4 beta all weekend, and the XB1 beta for like 7 hours last night.
I didn't see any screen tearing on either.
I guess they could use the companion app for text chat, but that would still be pretty unintuitive in the middle of a firefight.
Exactly, you can't say a game was designed for a certain controller unless it uses some feature that only that controller can do.
It'd be like saying a Wii U game was designed specifically for the Wii U pad but it never uses the screen at all.
It's Halo mixed with Borderlands, with a little bit of Mass Effect and Defiance thrown in for good measure.
It's really looking to be a good game, with a little something for everyone.
Volkama I am super sensitive to screen tearing and haven't seen it on either beta.
They both look nearly identical to me.
The only difference I've actually noticed is that the PS4 version looks darker. (yes I calibrated the brightness properly)
And the load times are MUCH faster on my XB1, but only because I have it installed on my external drive that speeds up everything.
I clocked a full load from the tower to the ...
Meant to be played on PS4, even down to the controller???
That makes no sense.
The only real quantifiable difference between the controllers (not counting stick placement or personal comfort) is the PS4 touchpad.
All they use the touchpad for is a button. The XB1 uses the "view" button (double squares) for the same function.
If they had a bunch of swipe features on that touchpad I wouldn't argue with you, but...
My experience was totally different.
On my PS4, I had to take it all the way down to 1 on the brightness scale just to get it to the point where I could "barely see the emblem".
On the XB1, that point was at level 3.
And the PS4 version ended up looking way darker in game than the XB1 version.
Not really. It only took me an hour to get the whole thing downloaded and installed.
I got in pretty quick after they released the codes, though.
You make an excellent point.
I look forward to the days when games have their resolution and framerate on the box in larger type than the name of the game.
I'll never understand how people view removable batteries as a negative. That doesn't even make sense.
We can use regular AA's.
We can use rechargeable AA's.
We can use the rechargeable pack that MS sells.
So we have all of these options, all of which last FAR longer than the pitiful 6 hours I get out of my DS4, but somehow that's a negative.
Sony fanboys make no sense to me whatsoever.
I have a spare PS3 code, too, if somebody wants it.
My hands aren't shaped funny. The left stick should just be up where the D Pad is.
Every other controller since the advent of analog sticks has the left stick up high, "above" your thumb. The Dualshock is the only one that refuses to fall in line. I just absolutely hate it.
That's typical of anything like this.
You can please some of the people some of the time, but not all of the people all the time.....
