When you have a competitive shooter, you don't change things. Disagreeing is pointless, facts are facts. The fanboy dribble here is far from discouraging. Some things need to change, others don't. People wonder why games like Counter Strike and Unreal Tournament are successful. Well balanced games, don't change much. Halo 4 was a turd, the population, and the abandonment of MLG is solid proof it can't be competitive anymore.
Well you released a turd that pandered to casuals, and has a population consisting of nothing. Nothing to be proud of. It was the classic milking of a series, they didn't even have the decency to keep the formula the same. Don't expect the next Halo to sell better, a lot of the core fans are pissed. Hence why the population is dead.
Exactly. Halo 3, and Halo 4 is the difference between 30,000 or 300,000 people playing your game 10 months after launch. And Halo 3 held it's numbers well after 2 years. Halo 4 tanked in numbers back in January now it's just devote fanboys playing. Originality is key next generation, I don't care how good your game is if you carbon copy someone else's game formula you won't see a penny from me.
Most developers these days lack creativity. They take the CoD mold and think they'll rule the world. Hint hint developers, use your imagination and I'll buy what you got to sell, clone something and I'll beat you over the head with it.
Well they tried copying Gears with the last two games, maybe they'll not suck at it this time.
Borderlands? Fun games but we've had a lot of other series that could take that spot this generation. And Mass Effect. The first game was pure gold, after that it was all casual pandering. I don't need Ashley and Liara to have a bigger cup size, I need a good narrative, and the sequels didn't have one.
When you're that high up in a company like Microsoft you don't just up and leave, nor do you have another high up job waiting the day you're out. He had this planned out for a couple months at the least.
How often do you play games with every squad full? You don't, tons of people set them to private for one other friend, or just play solo. Giving the people that like the teamwork to have an extra man is great.
When they can screw up even more cannon? This is the EA Bioware we're talking about here, why would they want to pass up an opportunity like that? They have the amazing Hack Walters at the helm, expect the next game to be a prequel.
If you think the constitution is here for nothing then you should have no rights. They broke a few laws, they've already earned jail time. But the American government being the American government will probably just let this all sit quietly under the rug, completely dismiss the fact that somebody is being illegally detained, and not even for a good reason at that.
This is a heinous crime against human rights, and the first amendment. Every police officer involved should spend the next 8 years in jail instead for violating the constitution.
Don't bother. After the the first game, which is a SciFi master piece, you'll be sorely disappointing by the sequels. If you pay very close attention to the details of the plot, and want the RPG hybrid, the first game is the only one giving you that. The next two are EA hack jobs. But if you really want to see a good game (even if there is no hope of a good sequel) get it, that and DA: Origins. Both of those are the "real" Bioware.
Pretty sure these were up in retail when the StarWars 360 was available, that's not exactly a "new" controller skin.
A. RROD replacements were free, don't spew bull crap.
B. Poor Wii-U sales are from the lack of software, and I'd imagine 3rd party support in the coming future, not it's design.
C. You can tell by console sales over time that clearly not everyone jumps on the bandwagon for new consoles right away. Software sales on the PS3/360 will overshadow the PS4/X1 for a few years.
All that being said I don't think the Wii-U will outsell them, people want...
I'm ashamed to live in a world being run by such stupid people. Can't wait to go to jail for pretending to do meth, who's with me?
As much as this game is a joke, I'd say the review is too. You rate out of 4? 5 is low enough already, and you go one bar lower? Why? Makes zero sense.
You know that how exactly? DK is a huge franchise, Microsoft would milk it if anything.
It's not like it's a demanding game, the 360/PS3 could run it, why not the Wii-U?
It's launch games, launch price, and horrid ports. Think next time big guy, maybe you'll understand.
Looking forward to both the chargers. They're very handy.
