I think what developers should be doing is auditions with people who would work on the cheap. It would save tons on costs, and liven the atmosphere in game. It's always nice to hear new voices.

For the hardcore shooter fan BF4 would be your best bet. Considering it's way ahead of Call of Duty on next gen consoles you can already tell what the hardcore/shooter fans really want. Now's our time to strike and remove Call of Duty from the world, we get rid of it now and we can save any next gen title from being bogged down from trying to copy and paste it's horrible design. Make the right choice, get Battlefield 4.
Well my wallets going to hate me but I'm getting most of the exclusives shown on both consoles and a lot of the multi-platform games. This generation already looks like a turn around for the amount of effort the developers are putting in. Can't wait for my consoles to come out this holiday, hopefully I don't die of excitement.

Pre-orders are still available in a lot of stores, and websites. You're a moron if you went to Ebay. I could have got 2 of each from a reputable dealer. I have a hard time believing somebody that stupid with their money could save 2 grand in the first place.

They might drop it in a few years when launching a peripheral is complete suicide. For now they need to be together, selling the Kinect separately right now with the X1 at launch would guarantee it's failure, and have millions if not billions of dollars wasted on making it.
Did they really need the year? We know it's this holiday. November seems about right too, it's right when people go in for Christmas shopping. So if all of the PS4 stuff is on shelves right when everyone looks for Christmas gifts you hardly need to advertise, Christmas itself will sell your product.
